Please dont believe this it is bs ... I've just had both full hips replacement n I'm 10 days post op n still in a lot of pain but walking better now n he shouldn't be kneeling down after 1 day post op lol meant to be lying on your back to recuperate .. 2 hips replaced is major surgery and takes months to get back to some sort of normality

Did you mention which approach (anterior, posterior, ante posterior) your surgeon did your THR’s? What an earth were you thinking kneeling down in front of your closet? Not clever. Did your surgeon not inform you of the precautions you must take for a few weeks post-surgery.

Bruh, you were kneeling because you were still high AF off those meds and anesthesia used for surgery🤣🤣 But congratulations on being a double hippie🤞🏾🤝🏾💪🏾💪🏾🦿🦿🦿

Wow I have a tkr and tibia extensor mechanism op due soon . My bone density is low and a fracture is not healing after radiotherapy of plasmacytoma. This video has giving me confidence that everything should be OK. Great to see you smile . I can wait to go up by step on step .

8 weeks post op. No cane around the house only use it when out to let people away. PT started out challenging but got easy quickly. Don't rush and be deliberate.

65 yrs old - had discomfort sleeping and after vigorous exercise. Pain level on scale of 1-10 was usually around a 6. Now I'm 3 weeks after anterior approach - pain level 8 - can't walk without a limp. Have pain in frontal and side of thigh which I never had before.

As someone who is 3.5 weeks post posterior RHR and has watched 100 videos on the subject .. This is very dangerously information .. you need to make sure you follow up with these results are not normal and it is what has worked for you

Can’t say for sure but I’m over 70 I’ve had a total right hip replacement and it’s been a slow recovery for me and a painful one at that with very little pain meds go figure I’m trying very hard to tough it out. I can’t believe all these things that I comments I read were people miraculously going back to work and riding bikes and golfing and all that sort of thing I just can’t believe it.

I'm 3 weeks out from right hip replacement. Haven't been on cane for more than a week. Driving also. Left hip in 5 weeks. I'm 66 in decent shape. Sounds like I'm fortunate.

He is far from the norm. The majority of my friends have had a much longer and more difficult recovery. I agree with him that you should do the surgery sooner than later.

@@MrHappy629 Yes, I agree. I am almost 8 weeks from my surgery and have been off a cane for about a week. I was in a lot of pain the first week. I am 75 and was very active before my surgery. My doctor thinks I am doing great, but I can't compare to this man. My friends were on a cane for at least a month, or even two, after their surgery.

I am 8 weeks yesterday and have to say am no where near as good, I an still on a cane if Itry to walk without the cane it hurts and I can't literally walk. I am 70 and have to say the whole process has been horrible for me, I did not expect the recovery to be so long and painful. I was better before the operation to be honest. I am hoping to be saying a different story in a months time.
@debbiegibson3604 Жыл бұрын
@@cathylincoln323 I had my surgery the same day as you did! I am not in terrible pain, but I still occasionally use a cane. I didn't know it would be so awful either. I was in pain the first week to the point that when my husband helped me into bed I would scream. The hydrocodone I took did almost nothing. Everybody is so different. Give it time. I am 75. I hope my language won't offend you, but old age sucks.

Your vid actually is like the channel from this informative medical student Dr. Ethan. Dr's videos are informative and I really learned a lot for my practice. He is an insightful health enthusiast in Europe and he talks about wellness and conditions! You should really see his KZbin out and give the Dr a subscribe! 👉 #DoctorEthanScience
