If we did the "better team/situation" prediction for last year.... Bills would only lose to Jets, Jaguars, Bengals, Eagles, Chiefs, and Dolphins. Still 11-6 but a Pats and Broncos loss replaced two of them.

Bills would lose to Dolphins, Ravens, Texans, Jets, 49ers, Rams, and Lions. Tougher schedule than last year. Switches could be KC for SF and Indy for LAR. Maybe for Houston for Tennessee or Jacksonville. If there's an extra game they pull out it has to be Detroit if they don't have a winning record.

I think the Bills could get tripped up by the Titans after a three game road trip esp if they beat Houston. They also play at Colts and against KC in that week 9-12 win range where they tend to slow down some. Seems like losses.

I think week 2 comes down to what Miami does week 1 against Jacksonville. They're not built to win B2B games even at home against good teams

I think if you want the bills and Sabres to stay in buffalo, he’s a decent owner. He’s better than no team in buffalo.

If he sells any team it will be the Bills which would have moved if he did not buy them as a charity case after Ralph passed. The Sabres are his passion. If he sells either teams or takes his balls and goes home with both kiss Buffalo pro sports goodbye. Pegula is the only reason Buffalo has pro sports.

I agree. If he sells either team they are moving. Just because the smallest market in pro sports goes through foldable tables does not mean they would not be moved to a city with more like 1 to 2 mil in the city instead of 270K

@@Buffalosabskis Yeah, I am just finding it annoying here. This gets brought up every few months and at times I legitimately feel like people don't fully understand what this means. We literally just saw the reaction the Coyotes fans had when their hockey team was turned into the Utah Hockey club. And they want the same to happen for the Sabres? Like, Ryan Reynolds is not going to come out of nowhere to just purchase the Buffalo Sabres to keep them here. If Pegula sells the team, the team is likely going to leave Buffalo.

I am annoyed by them not being in the playoffs since 2011, but Pegula is the only way this team is here and with the ability to go to the cap when the time is right. People are generally just not old enough to remember Tom saying in 2008 how he would be fine with breaking even, but not losing money. He stated that by going to the cap that year and not making the playoffs that they broke even. Well the cap was 55 mil then. It's above 80 now and going up. No way he would still be the owner.

@@Buffalosabskis This year I’m not concerned if they have 8/9 mill in cap space still. Skinner Buyout happened due to a number of reasons(one big one being Peterka pushed him out of the top line, him and Krebs not working well on the third line and him being responsible for a lot of the goals within 5 minutes this year), they have tried to fill said space up with no one really biting or players they’re after going to other teams based on reports out there, and they need to sign Byrum, Levi, Peterka and Quinn next year. Next year I’ll be worried if they aren’t at cap or close to it.

They would have moved by now if Tom stilled owned the team. By about 2013 he would have moved them by wanting to get out of what the cap floor was starting to be.

I didn’t like the pick initially but then you have to give Brandon and his staff some credit. Josh Allen was too inaccurate. Tremaine Edmunds was too awkward and hesitant. Ed Oliver was too small with short arms. Greg Rousseau wasn’t fast enough and couldn’t bend the corner. Kiiar Elam wasn’t Tariq Woolen. But they’ve developed into good to great picks, even Kiiar is coming on now. There have been misses on the 2nd day and Keon was the 33rd pick but it’s way too early. He hasn’t played a single real game yet. He’s keeping the main thing the main thing and had the playbook down going into camp. If they use him to his strengths, he’s going to be very good. Joe Brady seems smart enough to figure that out.
