I can recommended to come again at low season max 15.06 or after 10.09. because when in Türkiye was the schools closed than everywhere is to much crowded and everywhere will be more dirty ...I prefer it to come mostly out of season , its cheaper and more clean and not crowded full with locals and toursits ... and the west coast, near by Izmir like Cesem, Urla, Karaburun, Seferiohisar.-Sigacik and ayvalik_Cunda or Datca and Fethiye will be very nice

Ankara is the political canter of Türkiye and at least 70% of the employees are civil servants. When I was growing up in the north-western part of the country (Kocaeli-Marmara region) apart from kofte (meat balls or cutlets) we did not know much about kebab dishes. Those dishes appeared after the 1970s from south east region like Gaziantep, Urfa, Diyarbakir etc. because of massive economical emigration from southeast to the western part of the country. These parts of the country heavily influenced by middle eastern food culture and natives are also ethnically Kurdish, Arabs or Iranians like Kars and Van). Before the 1923 population exchange between Greece and Türkiye there were approx.. 1.2 million Greeks used to live mainly in Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean part of the country and our kitchen greatly influenced each other. Even my mothers DNA is 40% Greek and southern Italian, rest is Balkan and Caucasus.. Although south-eastern kebab culture commercially dominant everywhere in the country but regional cooking is alive and well inside the private houses of the vast majority of the people.

From where did you pickup the van. And is it required pre booking? Also are there plenti of rooms in Kazbegi.
@artoftravelling4 ай бұрын
You can find vans at Didube bus terminal in Tbilisi. Usually you simply ask Kazbegi and any driver will give you a direction and no, no one ever books, they are filled out on spot. What do you mean by plenty of rooms? Like hotels? There is pretty good choice of hotels, from economical to more luxurious ones.

@@artoftravelling BTW, i have one more thing to know. In the july i" m planning to visit there. So, similar type of tourist services available to other destinations from Tibilisi?
@artoftravelling4 ай бұрын
@@a007j9 Yes, there are many so-called local Marshrutskas (public transport) from Didube Stations, Station Square, Okriba Station and so on that leave to various locations around Georgia. They are not really meant for tourists but for locals but of course tourists can also use it. Not always though there are vans so if you need more comfort and want to pay more you can either ask around these stations for a van but it's not always available to all directions (until you get a private one). There are many Expat groups on Facebooks and community on Reddit where you can also ask from which station to find the transport to your desired location. Alternatively, there are also blog posts at times where they mention how to reach specific place. More further and less developed places are harder to reach.

Could you take a guess at an average rent price for a 1 bedroom apartment on a 6 month lease ….just trying to get an idea. Thx !
@artoftravelling4 ай бұрын
Hi, last year in the winter and spring time we paid around 400USD (we paid in Argentine peso) for 1 bedroom apartment in Villa Crespo (Buenos Aires). But since we left there has been a huge change in the currency and prices most likely have changed as well. So not sure what the prices are right now unfortunately. Have heard that everything is more expensive now, especially after elections. Hope you find your answer 🙏🏻

@artoftravelling4 ай бұрын
It was definitely worth the price. The neighborhood is a little far from more tourist places but this is kind of what we wanted, a more calm neighborhood. We felt safe and the people living there were very nice. We lived close to the street from where we could easily take any bus to the center of the BA. Right now probably prices are a little different due to inflation.

Nice video of Iguazu Falls. I have a question. You mentioned, you took a taxi from the airport to the Iguazu Falls. Would that be any taxi outside the park entrance to return back to the airport?
@artoftravelling7 ай бұрын
Thank you ❤️ Yes, there are always taxis coming and leaving. If you also get there on taxi you can ask the same driver a number and call them when ready to leave or sometimes they offer to wait but not sure how price changes. Buses are also going to airport from the park if nothing changed. You can ask at the bus office outside.
