I like it how this song is actually describing very physically what you get when you subsist on caffeine and alcohol and don't get enough sleep. Chills, uneven heartbeat, anxiety - that's what you get. All you need is a good meal and some sleep... but you're alone and far from home, and there's no-one around to hear your cry for help and stop your self-destruction. That's what, to me, this song is about.

I remember listening to this song not knowing what tomorrow holds back in 2020 during the first lockdown, used to chill with my friends drink wine smoke weed and have long chats about the future even though we didn’t know where we’d end up, we all stayed in Pretoria and some of us were still in varsity struggling trying to finish a course. Fast forward we are all in different places and life is still going on nicely, I just had Starbucks Coffee with my girlfriend right now and we about to have wine so this song popped in my head again and I thought I should revisit it. I’ll still come back here, glad there’s people who make such great music out here ❤.
