Hi Hammond. Wow, this hymn was really beautiful. Really enjoyed the full sound at the end. It brought out a nice variety of sounds. The famous organist Diane Bish designed her Organ built by Allen. The Allen Organ is sure a magnificent instrument. Wishing you a blessed Holiday Season and a Happy and Healthy 2025.

Hi Hammond, thanks for playing this appropriate Hymn to remember all of those lost on Veteran's Day. Always great to hear this famous organ at West Point Academy. I saw a video awhile back of a lady, that had a Doctorate in Music, playing the song "Flight of a Bumble Bee" on this particular Organ. That was really amazing to hear and watch. Happy Veteran's Day Hammond and take care until next video.

Many, many years ago my Dad tuned the piano at chuch. I came along usually and one time Mrs. Crihst, the organist got there about the time Dad finished up. I was about 5 I think and she asked if I'd like her to play me a song. I said Yes Please, and she played this for me and really pulled out the stops! That has been a dearly treasured me all these years and is still a top favorite on the pipe organ.

Hi Hammond, I don't think that I have heard this song before. It has kind of a lilting tone and melody to it. I lived in Downtown Chicago, IL for awhile and they used to have Indian band Street performers and they had a Pan Flute as part of it. That Organ setting sounded pretty similar. Congratulations on attaining your goal of having such a beautiful Allen Organ in your home.

@@WilliamMitchell-sc3fe Hi William, the original instrument is a 16 channel, mine is a ten channel, plus i wanted maple stop shanks, the organ was built in 2 pieces to fit through the door and a few other custom things, so i'm not sure what the actual price was, installation was included in the price. I don't actually know the original cost of the instrument before installation and without custom work being done. I would email the Allen Organ Factory and ask what the price is... it was a great experience having this built and i am enjoying it.

What a gorgeous (Allen?) organ and how privileged you are to have been able to play it. Is this a new organ of yours? It sounds lovely. This has always been a favorite tune of mine.

Thanks Matthew, yes it is an Allen Organ, i had it custom built for my house. Its been my dream since i was a kid.. I also love this tune :)

Hi, great to see this new video. This looks like a new Organ you haven't played on before. Whoever owns this Organ is very fortunate to have such an organ in their home. At least it looks like the inside of a living room. Really enjoyed the ending with the Full Organ sound.
