My facebook wont let me run any ads. It tells me I am using false claims in every one. I even tried posting a blank picture, no text, no caption, just a red square and it disapproved it due to false claims. What is going on?!?! Help me please

kaylee schaff Hi! Sorry you’re having these issues. Facebook has computer that scan our ads to pick up red flags and sometimes the computers get it wrong. It may be worthwhile reaching out to Facebook to get a better understanding of what’s going on. Don’t keep submitting the same ad if it’s not approved because it will affect your ‘rating’ with Facebook.

First off what jumps right out at me is the over capitalisation you use in the opening line. Facebook doesn't like that. Also $150,000 worth of benefits could be seen as a misleading promise. I suggest you really go back and look at the examples Facebook gives in the Policy of what is allowed and what isn't allowed. Also, in your copy you are quite vague about who this for? Try to address a very specific person with a very specific pain point rather than a general audience. Good luck: facebook.com/policies/ads/

Can Facebook ban your account if they have already approved your ad? I’ve only made 1 ad so far, and it got approved yesterday right away but someone told me to pull my ad because it appears to be wrong- but it’s already approved! Please help! Thank you so much!

Hi Tracie. Yes, they certainly can ban your account even if they have approved your ad. Take a look at the policy and make sure that your ad does comply. Better to pull and ad and start over than to try to get your account back. Here's the link to the policy. facebook.com/policies/ads/

It's a suggestion, not a rule. Using 'You' or 'Your' can be picked up by Facebook's computers to be calling someone out on personal attributes. You can use the words, I use them all the time, but check that you comply witht the policy.

It's not neccessarily about the 'you' or 'your'. It's about calling people out based on personal attributes. Facebook's computers sometimes get it wrong and may not approve your ads if it contains the word 'you' or 'yours' seeing it as calling someone out. If your copy is within the policy you should be able to get it approved through the appeals process.
