this is a great modeling workflow video, thanks! will this be used as a game asset? the model turned out great and it's a really unique style! i'm learning to use blender currently and I'm always in panic about the topology of my models, as i've read n-gon faces can lead to problems. you seem not to worry about this so much (eyes top face is 5 vertex polygon, teeth and some other faces are trigons, as far as I can tell) - do you have any rules or guidelines that you follow regarding toplogy for game assets? should I just stop worrying about things like that?

@@dushdy7160 I am making a game but because this is straight from Evil Dead idk if i will use it in mine. Ive never been professionally employed for this so I just do whatever I want, but i do have some guidelines. All faces are triangulated when they get put into a game engine regardless. So as long as the possible triangulations of the face wont be a problem then it doesn't really matter. Especially for something thats kinda intended to look janky like this. I did make this a while ago and I do try to stay a little more quad with my topology tho. Having the quad topo ultimately makes it easier to work with and deform a little better. But at the end of the day it doesn't matter what you do as long as you're getting it done. 👍

Do like a sand worm from Beetlejuice. jaw/mouth inside a mouth. When people are scared of slides- its from two possible things. Claustrophobia- and Aichmophobia (of sharp parts in the slide). Intensifying the basic fears makes the slide scarier. Good luck ^^

9 months ago I watched this video. About to comment, I decide against and since then I've been tortured. I go back and forth, retreading this path.
