Just had a great idea - Moshi vs Moshi chat. At this point it's obvious the actual "brain" part of Mochi is fairly useless but as open source and combined with LLama 7B models or similar, that's when things get interesting. It's odd to have a chatbot voice robot that replies too quickly, normally latency is the opposite main problem, it should be thought of as a promising stepping stone.

The multimodality is amazing, but Moshi is barely above gpt-2 IQ level. When gpt-4o voice comes out the conversations will be vastly more interesting. I also expect much larger and more intelligent open source models like Moshi within the next year. I think that and gpt-4o is going to make more people start taking "AGI" more seriously. It's a counterproductive, vague, overloaded term, but may be a useful gauge for how seriously people are taking AI capabilities. Intelligent voice chat is going to make more people realize human equivalent performance is rapidly approaching.

For that video, I have the NTG-2, the Rode wireless Go, the XY mics attachment. All of those are recorded to the SD card (the H6 can record 6 tracks at a time). Then in post I add the iPhone audio separately.

This was a test to see which mic setup worked well for that particular environment. There were 4 separate tracks recorded at the same time to the SD card on the H6, and then the iPhone was added separately in post.

Hello, when I take the download link of some models like Juggernaut XL from civitai and put the link in the MODEL_LINK, I get an error for downloading(HTTPError: HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized ), how can I fix it? I'm sorry if I didn't convey my meaning well, I'm not an English speaker :)
@mingeffect

Thank you for your question. Google drive changed their code addresses for that repo, (as an example grdive is now drive) and that throws off the notebook code. If you can get past that, the code from civitai is changed as well. Meaning, you have to go to your account there and add an API key (account/ + Add API key). Once you have that key, you will insert it in the following location marked "your_token_number_here". Here's the updated code for that. !cd /content/drive/MyDrive/Models; wget civitai.com/api/download/models/128713?type=Model&format=SafeTensor&size=pruned&fp=fp16&token=your_token_number_here --content-disposition

I listened to your video three times. Don't think I missed any. - make pics one sec -remove space - render = All separate pics. Yes? ? ? What's stopping it from just rendering it into one clip? Let's say I have 30 pics ready. I want it into one clip and also want them separate. Wouldn't it be the same outcome? Sorry. It's a bit confusing

Thanks for the comment. You can also go to Davinci Resolve/ Preferences/ User/ Editing and then change the frames to single. I'll make a video on that. Overall, when you select Custom export in the Deliver page, selecting anything other than a movie file format will export as stills, as with the jpg, png, tiff etc. If you want it into a movie clip, just select a movie file format export and it will work for that.

Wonderful video, Ming! Thanks for sharing. Really helpful tips, particularly the scopes (project vs. global) of the saved stills (powergrades), and the "free" upscaling for media in a specific timeline. You're the second person I've seen use the saturation trick, but you used a variant I hadn't seen (bumping it all the way down as a form of normalization across all hues, and then slowly scaling it to see how the levels are distributed - really neat!) I believe the other person had scaled down the saturation to make changes to the contrast more obvious/vivid in a sense. Thanks again for the example, stay well!

I love this video! I panicked when my newly purchased H6 wasn't catching tracks with the 1/4" TRS Adapter as I only bought it to solve some audio headaches! Thanks for the link for the adapter. I wish I found your channel prior to my H6 purchase as I would have liked to thank you by supporting your link there. But I checked your link anyway and the H6 link isn't available currently, is there another way to get a different one? Just thought I would mention in case it helps. Thanks so much I really appreciate your help! Now just waiting on the final piece of the puzzle...

collab kicked me off my google account for trying to run that line... maybe because i forgot to use quotes since Colab Notebooks folder has a space in it which messes up the syntax... or because i added it to the report code instead of using the +code button at the top,

On another video for a shoulder rig, someone had made the comment that the fundamental problem with such rigs is they now move the fatigue point to your HANDS rather than letting your shoulder do the heavy lifting. Like even in your rig, the camera is way forward relative to where your shoulder pad is. This stresses your arms more rather than shoulder taking the load.
@mingeffect
@mingeffect Жыл бұрын
You can actually shift the entire rig on the rails back-and-forth to alleviate pressure wherever you’re having difficulty. In my practice, I didn’t feel any fatigue in the hands at all. I think it comes down to a matter of individual preference and individuals strength in their hands, versus shoulder muscles, etc. as I said, neither myself, nor my two assistants have ever had weariness, fatigue, or pain in the hands.

At 68 years old, and retired, I am engaging in a project that I need to record to 4 - 8 channels simultaneously from up to 8 microphones that are not powered (Piezo Chip inputs). I ordered several different Zoom products, to include the H6, and in reading the manual it sounded like only two of the side inputs (1-4) would work. Well, that may still be the case if only 2 of the 4 inputs provide phantom power, in which case the larger Zoom L-8 will likely become my GoTo device for the projects requiring more than 2 external microphones (most cases will). This video saved me from running into a simple 1/8" to 1/4" jack adapter and not getting a signal from the non-powered Piezo Chip devices. So, many thanks for sparing me what would have become a few wasted hours trying to figure out this whole 1/8" - 14" (or XLR) adapter powered/non-powered/phantom power issue. I learn so much more about sound management equipment and software every day - what a fascinating world I have stepped into, simply fascinating. Luckily I already have a lot of very powerful Apple machines (64Gb MacBook Pro 16, and a 24Gb MacTower Server, plus lots of equally powerful Windows based machines, and several 16Tb+ hard drive servers (RAID5).
