I LOVE it. I find it really comfortable, easy to ride and very responsive. I had a ninja 250 when I first started riding many years ago and upgraded to the versys from a KLX 250. So I am fond of Kawasaki's. The versys is nice and smooth on the highway and feels planted and stable in the wind. I rode today in windy and wet weather without any concerns. The KLX was scary in the wind.

Indeed! :-) It's such a great bike! I'm very impressed. I had a long shortlist and I'm really glad I settled on this bike. I just need some off-road friendly tyres.

Thanks John. We had a fantastic time out in the Styx. I've been to the Big Trees many times, but only from the Florentine end by car! This was a very special route in. We're looking forward to going back. We saw 2 cars, 2 cyclists, 1 ATV and then 1 dirt biker near the Big Tree walk. We have no idea whether the cars got out the same way we did!
