Now create an inconsistency effect in it so the idle sound sounds better and try to imitate smoother gear shifting if you want to make it sound like a manual, some gear shiftings sounded like a manual while others sounded like an automatic

ah, that's a glitch. Crank down all the visual settings and get a highest possible frame rate. At 200fps, the damage glitch is much easier to trigger.
