Street side dining, tenth floor restaurant...still one has to carefully negoitate the panhandlers, grifters and thieves(homeless) of Medellin. Every Metro station exterior over run with scam...grifters. walking to a destination....like hop-scotch, avoid human feces, vomit and urine.

I love the manual but I notice that when I drive mine with a CVT the rpm sits at 1,500 going 65mph and around 2,500 at 80mph hence the additional efficiency over the manual
@caseyvloge8827Ай бұрын
Better for sure for gas mileage while manual at best gets close almost like cvt because i can cost but to me i find more enjoyable especially the rare it gets and also i do still believe the manual is more reliable than any cvt also depending on the driver thank you for sharing

The lesson is dont trust anyone in latin America. Sad but harsh reality in Latin America. Everyone is scamming someone from the politicians, the police, the security guard, your own employees or even your own patriots or relatives especially in Colombia. Liars, cheaters, crooks, narcos, geuriilas, thieves , perverts, betrayers, whores. Truth. You could die and yhey dont care. Its a job for them... No papaya ..

I drove many cars with manual gearbox in town with many hills but I have no clue how to use to these modern features like hill assist and automatic brakes I never drove such cars , e brake ? What’s the problem with an old hand brakes ?
@caseyvloge8827Ай бұрын
I think the reason is that it was designed to be automatic but then they put a manual in it definitely makes no sense cars in general becoming ugly and boring and super expensive

Interesting. Better than Medellin? I’ll be in Bogota soon. I’ve been to Cartagena twice. Found a 10/10 woman inside the club in CTG, and hope to find another in BOG. I can tell by the videos the women are 10s and then when I get there, it’s even better.

Saludos.

Depends on where you live also matters. I live in more smaller cities compared to Las Vegas, NY or LA and Superchargers are so cheap and there's no lines at all. So I'm able to charge my Standard Range w/ no problem and still less than gas prices.

It is a green house technically you will be sweating riding in the car i have seen better like mack e for example it felt more like a normal car but in my case you need to cover or not use it till the night time

You need to find a way to charge your vehicle at night while you sleep. If you live in an apartment, start asking the landlord about EV charger installations, even if you need to pay for it yourself. I currently do not recommend EV's to anyone who does not have convenient charger access at work or home. However, out of all the EV brands you could have chosen, you did make the correct choice. It's the only EV in my garage that continues to get better after the purchase.

Agreed, but nothing can get better on any car except for the software... and Tesla does a great job with regards to software updates and therefore feature updates. I wish VW would do the same with its ID series, their software is a mess.

No, you are not cropping in medellin. You are telling what is going on here in medellin withgringo men! In 2023, over 40 western men got deleted by gangsters own dating sites, leftovers women, and S workers from the internet. This year the count is up to 38 deleted Gringos. Also, thousands get Scopolamine kidnapped and robbed every month. And in top of that, Colombiano people we don't want gringos here, and we are making it clear to our elected politicians!

Colombia is a developing country, not a third world country. Common sense is to keep your backpack in your lap. I just came back from MDE. I'm a young, solo female traveler. I traveled throughout Colombia with my backpack in front of me and I kept all of my valuables hidden in my hotel room (under my bed, closet, mattress) and didn't let anybody enter my hotel room. The locals looked at me like I was crazy but I'm not new to this. I have street smart.

There is no such thing as a good area in Medellin or Colombia. When they tell you in a good area don’t associate it to USA. It just means the probability is lower to get robbed but is still higher then a USA equivalent to a good area . Safe travel

Avoid driving in Perú and in case you do it, please note that police in city or highway checkpoints can only ask for 3 things: driver's license, registration and insurance (soat). If those are good, they have to let you go immediately. Any extra talk is likely a scam. Don't be afraid, just be polite and say NO. Speeding tickets are only sent by mail to the car owner along with photo evidence from the speed camera, which are usually mounted on pedestrian overpasses. Police cruisers do not have speed radars.
