For me it’s like if I keep the rpms low before it like shifts it Dosent jolt as bad but if I try to drive normals it jolts hard I can’t figure it out, I get no codes and it’s only that first gear , I’ve checked my fluid seems to be fine can someone help me , 2005 gmc cannon

Does it have to have the purple cap on it? Because when i unplugged mine it didnt have it on... and i have that p0502 code...

Yes, the factory wire has a purple cap on the male end.

Got a 93 s-10 2wd 2.5 auto. Doing same thing. Going to replace outgoing speed sensor.

HELP 2006 CHEVY 2500HD 4X4 6.0 ENGINE... doin the same shit hard shift from 1 to 2.. and no speedo had the cluster rebuilt n everything... replacing all sensors currently at shop for diagnostic... but you cant trust a mfr to give you the correct answers

If it's not the speed sensor itself could be wires. Follow them there is a connector harness beside the transmission check that too. That's a start.

Fixed with the harness wires being replaced, now abs and parking light come on some times for 60 seconds but brakes are fine and the speedometer bounces at 65 and 70 mph when the abs lights are on only

Hey man, I just replaced my transmission, now throws p0502 is the plug that’s furthest back on the t case near the rear drive shaft (passenger side) the one that gives speed signal. And can I run new wires directly from the sensor straight to the computer under the hood where they go into? Thanks

Drivers side transfer case speed sensor controls the speedometer. Green and purple wires. They have stripes on them but can't remember what they look like off the top of my head. You should be able to run new wires all the way to the PCM they are the same colour at the harness.
