I just love the growl sound these engines produce! I hope the next generation of Rolls Royce engines and new engines from other makers keeps this sound.

when that plane was running on the runway for takeoff the engine was humming in second octive E.

Hmmm, that FA sounds familiar! Sounds like the guy in my A319 videos LAS-LAX back in Oct 2022.

Uhhh, no....that is not a taxi way anymore, you're pulling into the jet bridge! I can tell that she was trying to correct herself, but in the heat of the moment, it was all she could say. Anyhow, hope that Mint class was nice. Don't know if that was the one that had the brand new studio.

Oooo, a CRJ to LAX! That's a bold move! I like it! I'm actually going first class on double ERJ175s on AE via the Eagle's nest at LAX in about 6 weeks on my returns home.

What was the purpose of holding the yoke during an autoland?
@waholoopesorry7422 күн бұрын
In case the autoland goes haywire then the pilot can quickly regain control

Nowadays, they only let children or close loved ones of airline employees into the cockpit.

I am curious to know what was stopping the plane from sidestepping to 34C or even use 34R.
@SYDAirlineEnthusiast27 күн бұрын
I once flew into runway 24L as well as 24R was closed. Now 24L is closed instead. Imagine if both were closed at the same time.

I had only experienced a go-around once in real life. I have yet to experience a rejected takeoff, though it happened twice to planes that were departing right in front of me.
@SYDAirlineEnthusiast27 күн бұрын
I forgot 27R is used for that ridiculous 270-degree circle to fly south of the airport before heading northeast.
