Moved from saanich to Edmonton a year ago for school. Man I miss this trail. My dad used to drop me off here early summer mornings on his way to work and this was the first trail I’d hit every time. Miss the air, the dew, the smell of the dirt. Video almost brought a tear to my eye. Thank you for sharing ❤

I am new in zwift so a silly question to you sorry but where does the sprints start in this race red line or green line?
@FigBug3 ай бұрын
Green line. In Zwift it usually is green line is sprint, red line is hill climb.

I'm not a strong sprinter, so I prefer to go long. I'd like to think I caused some separation in the lead group so in the end I was sprinting out of a smaller group. I dunno if my plan actually worked.
@Adiambrozi4 ай бұрын
yeah nice and all, but with these numbers you are not a C racer. Would be better if people enter their true categories so the race is not ruined for true Cs.... just saying
@Robert-Italy4 ай бұрын
Looks to me like Roland is an excellent Cat C rider. 2.9 w/kg for almost exactly an hour is fine for a C. Your comments may be more apropos for the people in the top 4.

How can someone race out of category?
@johnpyle24 ай бұрын
@@doomguyzwifting they sign up for a race below their average watts per kilogram. Zwift needs to hold people accountable. Kinda sucks when people cheat at a virtual race.
@timolonden4 ай бұрын
There’s a thing called category enforcement, which restricts signing into wrong categories. So if you race as hard as you can, you will automatically be upgraded to the next cat after a while. Ofc there will be a time that for a while you’re at the very top of those power limits. Then there will always be people who just sit in the pack for the races, and push only for key climbs or final sprint and never exceed the cat power limits. But I’d say weight doping is even worse.
@johnpyle24 ай бұрын
@@timolonden top 10 in my last race averaged 2.7-3.1 in a Zwift category D. And not all races are cat enforced
@timolonden4 ай бұрын
They changed the calculations beyond avg watts (don’t know why), but they now use zFTP, zMAP, Vo2Max and pure power calculated over the last 90 days. Maybe they should make the cat avg numbers reflect the change?

You are strong but you should’ve saved energy for the final sprint

Yeah, I didn't want the group behind to catch so I was trying to push the pace. Would have rather sprinted out of a smaller group.
