It does not work if you are doing slide show else, Windows update may fix this problem

Yes, you need to set it when you create a new desktop. Else you need to keep the desktop(s).

@@ASTRD I did that the background not showing on none them but when I have just one it shows but when I create other one the background doesn’t show on both them

I mean, you need to set it separately for each desktop you are creating. else the default background will be used as the background for each new desktops you are creating. If you're using a solid color or a slideshow, all your backgrounds will be the same.
