Good question. Basicaly, what Im expecting kung may gsnyan baha ay mrapat na nka off na agad ang Main circuit breaker upang maiwasan ma kuryrnte. I hope tama ang understsnding ko sa tanong mo brother. Asuming live ang currentna at inabot ng baha ang outlet, ang kuryente ay dadaloy laman sa tubig at a very short distsnce. Note ang H2O ay may mataas n resistsnce kaya hindi ito dadaloy sa kabuusn ng tubig o sa malayong distansya. Meaning humihina ang daloy ng kuryente sa tubig habang lumalayo ang distansya. Quite interrsting. Since T1 & T2 are the main lines it is normal for you to get 120Vac. Is there any device (i.e DO3) connected before the gate of the non-working Triac? Try to chk it. Can you send me the picture of the circuit for me to see how does it looks like, so I can give an appropriate inputs.

After posting the question i did some more tracing and found that there is an optocoupler before the triac whick appears to be blown because its giving a reading at the output even in the unactivated state. Do you think the triac will need to be replaced again?

Ye,s, normally there is an optocopler befire the Triac. It is use to drive/trigger the gste of the main Trias. You can test the Triac through snalog tester for you to know if it is trigerring. Just folliw what i did in my video.

@@rmttechnology7628 I ahve ordered the optocouplers that will arrive tomorrow. However, I desoldered the old opcocoupler and tested it with multimeter, it appears to be fine. But the triac seems to be blown up again. I am not sure what caused it to blow. Where can I send you the email picture of the PCB for guidance before i change parts again? many thanks.

Chech the Pins1&2 of said Triac, there must have no tesistance across these pins. 3. Compare the resistance of affected heater from the good one.
