Okay - I played FE8 and FE7 before I discovered how to play FE6 on my laptop. The early player map themes from FE8 and FE7 sound rather cheerful, so I was surprised to hear this theme in the first chapter of FE6. The first half offers a grim sense that matches the threat of Bern's surge into the neighboring lands, and the second half gives more of a taste of optimism toward the chance of uniting with the other lands to emerge from the war victorius. It would have made more sense for FE8 to use a theme like this since the opening plot - Grado's unexpected powerful invasion of Renais and sudden overtaking of the capital - is similar to this.

I just replayed FE6 for the twentieth time. At the end of chapter 2 when watching Roy talking to the 'mistress of Elen', this theme just kicked in from nowhere and it sounded so unforgettably beautiful.

Niime's theme in my book. Man, old people in Fire Emblem usually are so badass (Niime, Athos, Father Yoder).

Well, let's say that even though Zephiel's dad, King Desmond, tried to slay Zephiel several times, I think Zephiel in Fe7 should have convinced him several times not to avoid/ignore Zephiel, Just because he's the King that doesn't mean that a royal family member in Bern couldn't talk.

Funny story For some reason, I have always had blessed Roy's that were only brought down because of the late game promotion. I remember this one time during Rutger's recruitment, I accidentally left Roy too close, and he beelined for Roy. He proceeded to miss an 89% hit, while Roy landed a 10% crit in return and killed him. One of the weirdest soft resets I've ever done for FE6. Goddammit RNG.
