That’s the absolute best way to go. Own the land. Own the building. I think you will probably be inside your building by late February, early March. Depending of course on the bureaucracy, and the weather. Congratulations and good luck. I look forward to videos of your progress.

Nice haul! I just saw your channel on my feed and subscribed. You sure got a lot of neat stuff, especially the Pennsy S2 and the Pennsy hoppers. I've met a lot of fellow KZbinr's at York, over the last few shows. I met Corey at this show. He is a great guy and he subscribed to my channel. He has a nice set-up at his house and he does the NYC Subway System proud. Either way, an excellent video, all the way around.

Just a FYI. All your writing is displayed backwards. Excellent video other than that. I always enjoy your video's. What's the status with the club layout building? Enjoyed those video's but never heard whether they got a building or not.
@luvindemtrains26 күн бұрын
Hi and thank you for watching my videos, including this one. I noticed the backwards writing on items I was presenting as well. The culprit was the orientation of my camera. Hopefully my discussion helped to clarify in those instances. I have an update regarding our club layout building coming soon.

Great-looking Geep. Takes me back to my childhood outside of Cleveland. Big Blue used a lot of the first and second generation Geeps for yard switching in the Collinwood yard on Cleveland’s East side. Boy - they were crusty from all the brake and rail dust.
@luvindemtrains2 ай бұрын
I used to regularly see those geeps and U-boats coming through my hometown right before crossing the Ohio River. I stayed away from modeling CR for a long time because that was all I saw then, now I have come back to my roots.

@@luvindemtrains I miss Conrail. I was five when the bailout formed Conrail, so I got to see all the PC, Reading and what not around Cleveland until they were all repainted by the early eighties.

Dear Dave, excellent paint job! Like the comparison pictures at the end of the video, makes such a difference to see your results next to the paint job as you acquired the blast furnace. Just wondering about the missing piping, did you consider extending the piping from the blast furnace facility towards the backdrop? Humbly think this could further improve the looks of the model, as it would blend the much larger 2D scene in the background with the smaller facility on the layout. Also, the piping between the two factories may provide an opportunity to increase and further improve the visual field of depth and hence create more perspective illusion along the steel mill backdrop. Looking forward to seeing your next episode! Cheerio
@luvindemtrains4 ай бұрын
As always Vincent, thank you for your compliments. In addition to the piping I have to add to the model I will also add some additional sections to help amplify the "industrial" look that I am going for. However, I had not thought about extending it to the backdrop. Thanks for the idea.
