Hi, I am a teacher of English as well. I have encounted loads of English teachers in India teaching the twelve tenses or sixteen tenses once at the same time. I believe you have to teach each tense at one time followed by communicative activities, in which students will be able to practice the grammar they learn. For English teachers: please do check out this book written by Jim Scrivener: How to teach English Grammar! Thank you.
