They're definitely not the best. I had a boosted 2006, it had a shift kit, roush input shaft, and Ford Performance torque converter, and it done way better than a stock 5r55s. 6r80 is definitely the better move🤝

Pretty sure I follow you on insta and just happened to come across this video lol, loving the build man and hoping to do this in the future. Currently have a saleen blower on mine but all the bearings are bad (horrible factory design and very common hence why the blower was completely discontinued), and I got quoted 5k for a rebuild lmao. Just curious on approximate cost numbers for the build so far since I might want to go this route instead of rebuilding a blower with a flawed design

Could you have spent money on a adjustable sway bar
@shaudb15746 ай бұрын
I have the same turbo kit and race land coilovers. The sway bar swings up to the sway bar links. Why didn't yours work with the coilovers??
@Cherrythe3v5 ай бұрын
for some reason the links didn’t line up with the strut tower so i ended up going stock suspension in front with adjustable swag bar links. the kit runs pretty low so im not really gonna be low anymore
@gforce_1176 ай бұрын
When I went to lowering springs I got by with the camber adjustment bolts that have the cam lobe. They replace one of the bolts in the bottom of strut. Took it to alignment shop. One side needed a little adjustment, other side was within spec no changes.

These are helpful! Doing mine right now as well. I had same issue with oil filter relocation housing. So, I opted for a MMR relocation kit. Much lower profile off the block and comes with AN fittings. I have a built motor so I am not messing around with hose camps/barb fittings. Keeping the stock manifolds is a good move, headers are really annoying to do.

@@Cherrythe3v Sounds like a good solution. Maybe double up clamps. Most important is to have that oil pressure gauge! The factory one is just a switch, it won't tell you anything till it's too late most times!
