Someone please tell me how long it took to get real sleep again. I'm originaly was taking real oxy 30's then fakes for a while. My local drug rehab center kicked me out because of what ever they are making now doesn't show up on the drug screening. I only took subs for three days after three days off pills then a week the two more days of subs. Now I'm dry for 7 days. Feels like im gonna die from no sleep. I'm eating but bad stomach pain, horrible arm pain and bad stomach running offs. I go to a doctor tomorrow and I'm scared to get more subs. Also afraid to not have something to ease this pain and sleep lack. Please someone help me make the right decision?

I relapced and I feel such deep shame because of it. I started subs at 19, did them for 4 years and got clean. Now when I have gotten my shit together by getting a job and fixing my relationships I relapced and was on subs for 11 months now. Today is my 2 day off of it and I feel the withdrawl creeping in. I am going to get trough it, I am strong, I did it once before. This ain't shit

Seems my entire life with opioids and now suboxone has been a taper/use experience. I’ve always tried to use just enough . Which is recreating the feeling of first lortab 5. I’ve buckled down last year and am at .25 per day. So the days are long and the doses are fun but looking forward to skip a day maybe this week

@@JohnFlaky-jm7dd I’m on day 25 and my sleep is still fucked , it got to the point to I’m staying up every other day then when i sleep if im lucky it’s like 3 hours but honestly i feel so much better . The only thing that makes me handle this is my mental clarity being better and not having any type of physical withdrawals, I feel like that’s why they say to taper down to .5mg or lower before you stop . Regardless you’re going to have shitty withdrawals even if you were to stop at .01mg but it allows you to handle it in the long stretch and it reduces post acute withdrawal syndrome if you end up getting but most people do being on suboxine do get that . Honestly best then bro just go with the flow , I tell myself I’d rather have my sleep fucked then being on that poison suboxine . Keep your self busy as best as you can at night , dwelling on it just makes it worse because it going to happen regardless but atleast your body isn’t on that poison anymore that’s the best part about it .stay strong you got this just keep going and take it day by day .

I used suboxone for a good 17 or 18 years when I jumped off so my habit was fairly set and when I stopped my last dose it took a good 10 or 11 days before I got a good sleep. From there my sleep was hit or a miss for a good 2 months but it DOES GET BETTER. Stick with it...the lethargy and lack of energy goes away and you will come out the other side feeling much better for it. Not waking up each day thinking about having subbies, running out of them and planning life around them is a godsend. Hit me up for moral support if you like but keep going...honestly, if you will have mastered the worst of it two weeks in then it gets better day by day.

I’m going to try to get down to about a 1.5mg a day for about a month then make the jump and if I still have severe withdrawal I know how I am right back on it. This is some scary stuff for me. Let's face it I was an addict for more years than I like to admit but it was time to finally get off subs. I didn't take time off from work and my work is labor intensive. I want to remember this feeling I've had. I also did t know that sub withdraws last as long as they do. Any rate I'm starting to feel better now not 100% by any means but definitely feeling better than the first week and a half. Anyone wanting to get off subs you can do it. Its do able just remember what it felt like to deter you from going back know what it will be like when you come to your senses and get clean again. Just my two bits hope it might help someone!!!

1 year of suboxone isn't a long time so I would just do it. I faced almost a year's worth of withdrawal after 20 years of being on suboxone. Just the acute withdrawal phase alone lasted over 60 days. 1 year should be relatively easy compared to 20 years so I would reccomend you do it before the problem becomes more more complicated. The idea of long term " maintenance " is a preposterous and dangerous idea and it shouldn't be allowed.

Methadone was the longest hardest WD of ever went through. I did a 21 day slide to get off and it took a full 6 months before I felt normal. Then 3 years ago I got on oxy and then kratom to get off that and then the kratom WD was intense and once again lasted forever. I started doing oxy and kratom and just was spiraling . Finally got on subs which I know I know trading one for the other but I’ve only taken most 2mg a day or every other day and am soon going to taper from there but first I just need the stability I am feeling right now.

@@pigeonsil240sx I was on 60mg for roughly 6 months. The counselor there told me once when I didn’t have the money for that week that if I could find money for dope I could find it for the clinic. This pissed me off so bad I was like fuck this and fuck you. Lo and behold a few weeks later I walk in and there is a new person there. I asked where the other guy was and was told he ODed and died a week ago…. I told this new person I want off and she said I had to be on at least a year before they would consider it and I said no I want off so I did the 21 day slide. It was absolute torture. It took me 4 months before I started to feel out of the woods, 6 months before I could sleep a normal night. It’s been 15 years but I’d say between 4-6 months to feel ‘almost normal’ and 6-12 months to really feel like myself again.

I know he knows I want to get off but honestly when I do get off I'm worried about cravings and I'm worried about relapsing on something even worse because all those feelings come back and it's honestly really intense. For me. But the goal is to be free from all substances and sober because it's a command in the Bible.

*Long read, if you took the time thank you.* I’m struggling like a motherf. My problem, I’m 25 now and truth is i was never on any other addiction before sub, I was just 18 and in the middle of that stupid late teenage stupidity you know, doing this and doing that without a care whatever comes your way first time or not. Someone told me “have you tried suboxone? I have a handful of them right now I’ll toss you one let me know if you like it” so I did and I loved it. I loved how long it lasted, I loved every bit of the feeling and loved feeling it the next day etc. only drug I ever “loved” like that I guess. So for around 2 years I just kept buying them from dude and took a solid year before I even realized what I’ve done because for the first time something happened with him and I went without for a few weeks and of course after just a few days I felt that next feeling I never experienced before being dt’s and it fucked me up, took me days to learn what it even was and that’s when I started smoking sadly. I don’t know why I just wasn’t smart about it at all either, after those few weeks he bounced back in a txt and I immediately celebrated and bounced over, back in that cycle for another year experiencing more withdrawal here and there. Then he got jailed and was gone, I panicked and someone suggested me the clinic where I’d save money and get more anyway (I never had “good” people in my life obviously.), sooo, yeah. Been going to this stupid clinic for about 4-5 years now. Around 2 or so years ago is when I started realizing the difference in myself now and who I used to be before, which was already a major negative difference by then of course. I’d say for about a year now I’ve really, really wanted it. I want sobriety, I haven’t even been sober since I’ve become an adult and I’m 25 now. I’ve been to rehab twice since, and I just can’t handle the withdraws. I just absolutely lose my mind. Never have I ever seen or heard someone take sub withdrawals like I do, I only do a qtr to a half per day but it only takes me like 12 hours to start hitting me to the point where I can’t sleep or hardly do anything. After 1-2 days is when I start to lose my shit, I lost my shit in rehab both times just days after and one of them even kicked me out. They even warned me that they were about to and I remember trying with my all but I couldn’t go a couple or few hrs without freaking out again. It’s so hard to explain. But I can’t handle that mental experience I end up I’m, aside the physical. At the same I don’t have anything in my life to lean on, no woman or family, not one friend or even one person to talk to, my mom was my only person but she passed earlier last year and I almost haven’t talked to anyone since. Haven’t had a clue what to do with my life to this day, nothing. I don’t even play video games for a passion or anything. My life is just at the complete bottom of the trash can if that makes sense. Not even trash to lean on. It’s not looking good for me at all… I can’t figure out where to begin. I’ve known for a while that there’s not one chance that a woman will connect with someone like me just as the truth. I just have no literal clue what to do now. Been in this cycle for nearly a year now…

Made them last a month. Once I ran out, it was bad. Worse then Dilaudid Imo. However, Kratom has been a lifesaver. I’m not even taking enough to fully get rid of my symptoms. Just barely enough so I can sometimes sleep. I really hate the Kratom feeling too, just using it for 10 days then I’ll quickly taper off!

Sometimes it’s just “making it through” each day will be better than the last. Pain of withdrawal is temporary at the end of the day. Possibly look into kratom for temporary withdrawal relief and get off that as quick as possible
