Still got the Peugeot but yes we think we want something bigger. We think we may go full time so bigger is good. Practicing over the winter and see how we get on

Tidy job , just bought fiat scudo same thing really, we wanted fixed bed so we went for wheel arch to wheel arch and we can get away with 1650 x1200 this way we gain extra space between bed and rear of seats , installing 200w solar panel , will use portable gas ring to cook up anything , no sink so will carry water and use a foldable bowl , installing 12v led ceiling lights , 3.5a fridge , USB’s , maybe a12 v heater at a later date , will have a clearance under bed of 350 mm good storage for foldable table parasol etc , I boxed in both wheel arches insulated that void with rock wool equivalent , and use that frame for bed base , the part we are dreading is carpeting the doors . I installed a skylight , 2 part toilet , and will have curtain for privacy mainly at night . This design I can add to later if we find the need due to the fixed bed , it will be interesting to see both vans finished in our own personal way. , Enjoyed video jack very tidy .

Not sure what mileage we get but it is most definitely not as economical with the all terrain tyres on.

The scudo can do 1000kms to a tank. 78l if I'm not mistaking

Hi. The sofa is approx 30 inches wide which then pulls out into a bed approx 45 inches wide and the kitchen is approx 14 inches wide. Approx measurements cos the van is very not square or straight sided lol. Hope this gives you some idea. Compact but snug.

Is it warm enough without insulating ? I am doing a dispatch currently and I have put kingspan in walls and ceiling. What is your Reason for just carpeting. Is it to save space ? Thanks

Hi thank you for your comment. We have insulated the ceiling, floor and cavities and it is a smallish space and lovely and warm

Hi mate. No the bed/sofa will stay as it is we think. May put some pull out draws in the three sections to access storage.
