I love these albums. My son is 19 and I wish I would have done a project like this. I scrapped in 12x12 at that time and then went back and added extra photos to pocket pages and combined them. But I something like this would have been a nice addition!

I reworked some of my albums already too. I am doing 9x12 PL and then was going to use one 6x8 album for a Me album and OLW combined but decided to separate them. I am also thinking about another 6x8 album for other (non -me) stories!

I like your Xmas journal. I have an idea for your wrapping paper page. How about either making a rectangle that looks like box and tie a ribbon around it to look like a gift. You could use either patterned paper or a piece of your wrapping paper. Or if you have a stamp that is a gift box, you could stamp that or multiples of that stamp. Just an idea.

What a priceless keepsake you have created! I love it and how awesome to have so many wonderful pictures to flip through vs having them on a computer/phone.

What an incredible keepsake for your son! Love it! You are so creative and I love your style. For my girls, I did school albums with project life protectors and documented the highlights of each grade. I strongly suggest having a binder album so you can quickly add in certificates and artwork. They both just graduated and it was so fun for people to look through their albums. I kept it simple which is key, but so glad I kept samples of their writing and little things. So fun to look back on.

Good for you for sticking to what works for you. The social pressure in the community to have "more more more" is really strong. I'm holding firm at 2, but it's not easy.

You did a great job!!! I love that you're showing how it's a learning in progress creation -- never would have thought the splatters would bleed through but the Nuvo drops fixed that right up! Oh, and I skip around with the photos in mine, too because some just work better with certain pages.... love it!
