Not difficult at all when your subject is against a solid light background. Let's see you do the same thing with wind blown long hair against a multi-colored autumnal woodsy background.

The best way to use rubber cement, for the strongest and longest lasting bond with paper on paper is to put rubber cement on both surfaces. You let both surfaces dry, then you press both surfaces together, glue-side to glue side. It will work the way you are doing it but it is a weaker bond. What makes rubber cement better for paper on paper projects is that it doesn't contain water, so it won't wrinkle the paper and it is acid free so it won't degrade most papers, so it's archival safe.

Just a little tip: I used to work in a job where we used rubber cement in preparing training material. if you pour a little puddle of the glue on a piece of paper then let it dry, you can form it into a ball and then use it to clean up the excess glue after it has dried.

Why when I press my channels button and go to red or green or blue, they actually turn that color and not black and white?
