I used to cry to this when I moved countries. All the memories, people, and places of my childhood were gone. I was grieving the loss. It took a year to start emotionally accepting the changes. I'm proud to say now, I no longer feel the need to cry to this. I eventually realised that all of my day to day reality of childhood may not have been meant to continue into my adult years, but that it was the blue print that I would use to navigate my adult life. My childhood will always remain with my in my heart. I will always carry it.

This song reminds me of when I got lost on a hike when I was younger. I thought I was brave and ran ahead of my parents until somehow I departed the actual path and started going downhill. I soon realized I was lost. I tried to get back on the path and about an hour passed. I never gave up hope, I spend all my time trying to relocate the path. Finally my efforts succeeded. I didn't know where I was on the trail, but my instincts told me to run forward from where I was and that I would find my parents there. I sprinted that way and I was right. I saw my parents continuing walking and I ran up to them. I told them what happened and they were shocked. To this day, I still wonder what would have happened if I hadn't found my way back to the path, and if I ran the other way of the path.
