Hi Pastor Evan. I hope you see this and can answer. I'm a member with several instances of Church Hurt from a very large church that I moved across country to attend. I let ALL of them go not wanting to draw attention to myself I dealt with it privately in prayer. Then I had a life crisis and our church is so large you cannot just call and speak to the pastor there's no email you just have to fill out the form on church center and request a call. I got a call a full 6 days later even though the form said I need a call to chat I AM not ok. To not make the story too long I'll shorten slot. I basically got a call from a woman in the church I don't know. She asked why I needed to speak to a pastor. I explained briefly and she said we're too big and the pastors are too busy with their own lives to contact individual members. She suggested I go to counseling and even blamed me for not going to small groups for community since I live here alone no friends or family. I explained the groups were either sold out or full and she said I should have joined earlier but I was just learning about them recently. This time while I was able to forgive in prayer there is still residue that won't go away. I decided rather than leaving the church I would just now stream online. And even if you are in the building since if the pastors are near or at Celebrity status so they are guarded and if you want to chat for a minute or ask a question you are kinda pushed away it's very awkward. Now u truly know if something devastating happens I cannot get support. I got a second at the woman's gathering to speak to the Pastors wife who was in a hurry and I got to gently share lightly and she was just kinda like ya sorry. I don't know what to do to not hold offense honestly.

Is there anyone here that I could contact to process my church hurt story with? I moved across states to attend my Church so it isn't as easy as Just leaving but I contacted everyone I could think of to try to discuss in a kind way and nothing. I feel kind of cheated and disappointed and I want to leave but I am entirely alone as it is no friends or family in my city.

I preached today and i felt very empty inside though i knew God spoke through me. I came here to know if anyone feels the same. God bless you!

It’s not my lane or the operation of my anointing. We have different callings that serves the purpose of GOD. This one comes through being empty of myself for GOD to speak through and use this vessel the way he chooses. He just speaks and it is🤔🎉✌🏾

Preaching for the 1st time to youth about spending time with God & how imperative it is to our walk with him and how it leads to a victorious life in Christ

I was confronted by an Elder telling me not to talk to a woman that just started coming. This woman and I were talking and enjoying each other. I got a call one Friday by this elder telling me not to talk to her any more. He said she complained I was coming on to her and she did not like it. I could believe this at all. So I stopped attending this place. If she had a problem with me she needed to talk to me first. This Elder was wrong in all this.

Those church leaders who had exposure in the outside world before they became pastors fare better as leaders as opposed to those who just graduated from Bible school and have no inkling what life is outside the church perimeters.

What does the Old Testament say about dancing? In the Bible, Psalms 149:3 says, “Let them praise his name with dancing…Praise him with tambourine and dance…”3 In 2 Samuel 6:14-22, David dances before the Lord with all his might, providing us with a wonderful example of what it truly means to surrender to God in worship. Everyone needs to lighten up.

How I live

Seems I am not good enough for church folk though I am loving/ giving/ considerate. Thanks for being real about this. Very disorienting 😢 I hurt so badly. If someone knows of a healing place in Denver please let me know. Thanks

Every good sermon must preach the Gospel, whether it’s in the Body or the conclusion. If anyone leaves the church without hearing a clear Gospel presentation than you didn’t do your job
