Wonderful performance by Sara Allgood in the supporting role of Emma's mother. A great comic talent, helped by a witty script.

This scene resonates because everyone's either been a Sue, known a Sue, or wish they could be as boldly unique as Sue. The song by Cass Elliott was the perfect choice.

One, who sings this song they're playing in the background when they shown clips of Sue making an impact? The name of the song? Also, this is one of the best moments of the show me and my mom remember most in this show. Sue never got a win, never made anything when she tried out, she was ignored constantly, everyone had no clue who she was or even had any record of her there. It was surprising that her friends were the only ones that knew who Sue is or that she existed. But when me and my mom saw this scene and saw that everyone knew who Sue was the whole time and that she did leave an impact on everyone and the school itself the whole time when she saw her yearbook filled with positive messages or responses from so many students. I shed a tear at this scene. Even hearing this song leaves me shedding tears.

My hs graduation was anticlimactic for me. I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to my teachers and friends, I had to stay home and do virtual classes, I only got 2 or 3 signatures in my yearbook, (I wasn't hope all of my friends but I was hoping more than this) I didn't get to go to my junior prom and my principal made strict rules for senior prom that everyone had to follow so I didn't go, but when I saw the "end of the year" video, I saw the bit with senior prom and no one was wearing a mask, and everyone wasn't even 6 feet away. I hope everyone's junior and senior years turned out better than mine did.

This is still so heartwarming. It was a running joke that no one at school besides her friends knew her name or what she did. But everyone did know her, she left that big of an impact on everyone in her class.

This show didn’t really have a lot of majorly emotional moments but when they chose to spring them on us they sure hit deep. And Make Your Own Kind of Music was the perfect song for this.

I think this scene is really powerful coz you know how sometimes you think that you're unseen, not acknowledged or made to feel negligible. But you never knew up until the end that you were actively inspiring, touching lives and being a pioneer in your own sweet way. That's what this scene showcases. Sue taught that she hadn't made a single impact. But she had been making not just one but so many❤

Just watched this episode a few minutes ago on my first in-order watch of the series, I had seen this episode years ago on TV without knowing it was a finale. I cried soooo much during that Sue part, and that song, "Make Your Own Kind Of Music". A perfect song for that montage and for Sue Sue Heck.

In this single clip of two minutes and twenty-three seconds summed up the meaning of spirit and the worth of the common woman or man. It took Frank Capra an entire film, It's A Wonderful Life, to deliver the same message.

Eden Sher truly deserved Emmy for her portrayal as Sue Heck. She did such an amazing job. She's different in person, but this character is so believable.
