The dealer bought a new cover for me, but after getting estimates to paint it (btwn $105 & $215) I decided to do what you did (but I wasn't told to do a primer) for $45. Question, was Toyota's policy to cover replacement & painting after loosing a cover in any car wash? Or, did it have to have been lost in a Toyota car wash? I'm curious, as I have yearly plan using coupons with Rocket Express car wash. Please let me know. Paul

I have a hard cylinder 2 misfire… already check spark, coil, compression 115 with 125 across the rest of the cylinders, injectors cleaned and verified not leaking combustion leak tested OK… still has a hard miss and I don’t know why anybody on here with this problem?? I also have a system rich bank 1 code

I’ve only just watched the video so many just found it on KZbin. I had the same problem and you know what mine was. I had a replacement engine on the back of the coolant I’ve got them studs nuts. The studs was banging on the coolant at the back of the top, one where the the first stud nose loosened it and re-tightened it up again it’s fine now but I would like to know is Sid I think you’re holding up what are used to poke the coolant with what are they called?

Finally had success after changing that purge valve! (I also had a loose hose that I discovered while changing the valve) Is there any follow up to this? Did that valve change last? Thank you again!

Head gasket sealer, cleaning the EGR valve, and the EGR ports cured my engine shakes. Runs like new.

I took out easily on both side, and can't put them back.

Is the bottom rear spoiler thing 3 pieces? Why do you only have 1? Did you use the other 2 from your old spoiler?

My wife's 2016 Prius Hybrid lost the passenger side pull hook cover in the automated carwash. What does this are the 10 high performance blow dryers. We didn't notice it immediately but if we had, the car wash may have found it in their drain at the dryer end of the carwash. It's the correct paint and the clear coat that make this expensive. We also lost the complete rear wiper arm in this carwash before it changed hands and underwent a complete overhaul. Now I use 2" wide blue tape on the wiper arm. I think I will do the same on the pull hook covers.

You had the plugs changed 30K ago so you "knew" they couldn't be the issue. Without visibly checking the plugs you cannot be sure. I once had a misfire that was caused by a piece of carbon getting jammed between the spark plug tip and the side electrode. Removal of the carbon fixed it!

This same knocking is happening to my 2014 with 225k on it. Knocks at start and sometimes from stopping when the engine kicks back on. Egr was SUPPOSEDLY cleaned this year at a shop. Replaced plugs and nothing besides running a little better. I drive is hundreds of miles a day some days and thousands a month. No other engine issues have come up. Check engine has been coming on for misfire cylinder 2 but seems to resolve itself. Any tips? Bringing to the mechanic tomorrow.
