No this Deck almost won a Japanese magic tournament and then people started playing it alot because it was pretty unique in the Meta(not that it matters, you can play any deck you want and he didnt claim it was his). Ashlizzlle was got rank #1 mythic playing the deck a little over a month ago. She has a video on her youtube channel if u wanna check that out.

Will Mono Red Timmys will actually stop being annoying with Leyline banned? No, Mono Red is simply too powerful and fast. All that this ban did is giving you 1 more turn before you get defeated by simply being overwhelmed with all that power. So you'll still have to have removal in you first hand or you're done for
