Your father really explained everything to a tee for the people who have never encountered those exact foods. I love lentils and chick peas and if they include those with vegetables I'm game. I am a definitely a meat lover but love lentils and chick peas.

Is perfect food if you want to die in either salmonella or severe diarrea...that my memory from Turkey was sick in hospital 2 weeks after my Turkey trip. Just a country without good hygiene
