I live 30 minutes from this lake. A favorite lake of mine. Less busy than other lakes nearby. Our options are endless.

Wild! I (typically) dont even think about trout fishing in open water after 2 weeks past ice out until cool weather in the fall. This looked like so much fun but trout are my most targetted hard water species so I give them a break in open water lol. Awesome video!

Love bass! You should go try West Goose Lake right in roblin for em… I caught a 20” bass there last week and lost one even bigger boatside. According to the master angler app, nobody’s even broke 20” in Singush so it’s probably worth a shot!

In Manitoba you’re allowed to fish any body of water as long as you have a Manitoba fishing license. Fishing without a license and getting caught will result in a $300 fine plus any fish you keep will be roughly $125. Download the “Manitoba master angler app” as it will tell you the regulations for the province and each individual lake specific regulations, slot sizes etc. happy fishing

I love top water fishing. Only way I fish for bass these days is using my fly rod to toss foam terrestrials but it is a form of topwater, just more relaxing version lol. Was this Rocky? There are some lakes north of Flin flon that have bass stocked in them now. They keep going north (with human help mostly).

Got this for once myself 😂, very fucked up situation, normally i fish for carp, went pike fishing with my nephew, caught a 87 cm pike, and when landed, i hooked myself also on the other hook that was outside the pike’s mouth, 2 of the 3 hooks from the trebblehooks were tru my thumb 🤣 awh men getting those out with a plier is no fun 🤣😭
