Two episodes in 2 weeks! A new theme song 🤔! What is this, the best time line? Thanks guys it was a very fun episode, the thunder dome part was imprinted to my brain as a child and had no other memories from the rest of this one. I guess I should not rewatch 😅

It's just like the argument that ''The Empire Strikes Back'' is the most boringest of the OG Trilogy so well said in the redlettermedia Mr Plinkett review. And sometimes slow worldbuilding is super engaging because of the atmosphere it creates. It draws you more in then like a fast paced dumb action movie, look at QT movies, a lot of dialogue that has nothing to do with the plot but at the same time creating a fasinating view into the minds of the characters. I love Blade Runner because of the atmosphere and depiction of a dystopia, not the action, I love Blade Runner for the ethereal music, not the epic theme, I love Blade Runner for the deep philosophical themes, not easy plot.

I wish they went with a more book-accurate monster design. I don’t think it’s ever been done.

I love your show so much! I only discovered it last week, and I've already gone back and Iistened to at least six episodes. The format, duration, tone, content, and volume all match my ideal preferences. The podcast I've always been looking for! Cheers

I think peter being naked at the church is symbolism for him being naked in the eyes of God. And than he washes away his sins in the shower

I'm just surprised that the house that Jay and Ernie were in front of when they were trying to steal kids Halloween candy, the owner of that house didn't tell them to leave their front yard while giving out candy. Like they just chose to steal kids candy in front of some random person's house😂.

Update. I just added the east coast version of this same show. I will say im more than positive this was in June of 1994 as they were promoting the upcoming VHS release of the movie. I also can confirm that the line is slightly different in this version as they tell the people to go back to Seaside Heights, which is of course the jersey shore area synonymous with the Jersey Shore show. The video link is here kzbin.info/www/bejne/rWGqmKJtgpxgjLs

I've seen this movie about 30 times, mostly as a child in my Con Air, The Rock phase.. a lot of Nic Cage I know, so was glad to listen. Sad no one mentioned Blow Out by Brian de Palma, definitely one of John Travolta's best.
