Hey I had two jetski that sunk in salt water. Cleaned out the engine, new oil, new spark plugs. But hasn't rolled over. It's getting spark, power and gas . I'm new to the jetski fixing so I don't know what else to check . After trying to roll it over for a while it back fired for some reason like something exploded. That's how loud it was

There is probably a build up of fuel in the exhaust causing it to explode. When you have one that has been rolled over you have to keep taking the sparkplugs out to dry them. It takes many times of removing, drying and putting them back in until it starts.

What was the problem on the jet ski ? How did you fix it? You didn’t finish the video 😬 I’m having the same exact problem

I have no spark to the spark plugs. They were flooded but ran fine for 2 trips after the flood and being in shop. Stored, and this year one started right up other one has no spark. Shop says stator rusted over and now I gotta pay for that after I just paid them 3k to fix and rebuild them. Don't make sense how they ran just fine both went thru same process and flood and storage but one has no spark suddenly. What can I do b4 I pay for possible new stator to get the old one to spark if possible. Says 350 for part and 900 total.... please help anyone

Not sure what’s wrong with mine I really need help. I have a 1997 Yamaha and my uncle gave it to me. It cranks but won’t start.

If there is no spark could be that the ignition coils bad, cdi box bad, or bad stator

@@ytwatcher2021 Appreciate it, we eventually got it to start but it won’t run. My uncle came and looked at it and established one of the problems was the regulator rectifier

@@MilesHeilman-r2s awesome mine doesn’t have a rectifier so it is on to checking the stator and the wiring harness.

The problem was the carborator. I rebuilt it and made sure the pop off was correct.

I have a 2001 Yamaha xl 800 mine cracked, but don’t have the spark on the spark plugs or no electricity on the coil

Mine turns over but no fire to the plugs, new stator, new solenoid, new voltage regulator, could it be bad start stop switch?

My 1999 Seadoo won't start. I'm not getting any fuel in the fuel line going from the carburetor to the gas tank. I don't think there is a fuel pump on these aside from the carb so I'm thinking the problem is in the carburetor. Am I correct in this assumption?

Ever figure that out? Think in having the same problem. I have compression & spark but no fuel
