The Yosemite Sam van isn't in this group. Although I became friends with Sam around 2005, I'm still not sure if I ever saw his van back in the heyday. Maybe I can do an in progress video down the line, I've been fortunate to see many top notch vans in primer and before the airbrushing was complete.

I brought this van from Dean Kasher in 96, at the 21st Nationals in Harrisburg VA. It won Best in Show there, it also won Best in Show when Dean first rolled it out in ( not sure of the date). Had it for 2 years, sold it to Peter Sanborn in Springfield mass. He sold it to Billy Keys in Westfield Mass. Billy added major sound and replaced the bed with a sunken lion display. Not sure what happened to it after billy. I drove every day to work at Bradley Airport and lived in Southwick Ma at the time. I bought it during the lion king movie and everyone loved it. It took Harold Hemmish a year to paint. I have a bunch of pictures of anyone wants to see them! Lions Den was a legend in it's day. Was a treat to own!!!

Hella cool, I love my 69 108 but in the 31 years since my dad gave me my van for my high school graduation I've never tried that,with her 283,327,305 or current lt1 but maybe I will when I take her lt1 out and put the 65 283 I have for her that looks fun, that's something I like in my 3rd gens

My Lil Red 61 pickup in that video. The white Mercury van was very impressive. He had a 300 six with Ford factory EFI set cut down to fit in the stock doghouse. Beautiful workmanship.

I love it all those Dodge Van's I gotta get me and my van's to a van show one of these days. I know mansfield Ohio is not too far for me to go too but I really love the early 70's Dodge Vans I just love the front ends on them. I have a 1972 and a 77 too
