I have misdemeanors on my record and summary offenses and I tried getting a job at the salvation army to feed the homeless and got denied. Its crazy!! Since I am almost 2 years into recovery from a heroin addiction and haven't been in trouble with the law. I have started college, went to a jobs skills and got 12 certificates, custody of my son back and got married to an awesome man , I'm still being punished. Alot of people change and it's sad there are so many people that are having this same problem. Thank you for what your doing. If I can help please contact me. I'd love to be of help.

I been going to jail since 9 years old in California. At the age of 12 I was convicted for attempted murder and served 6 years for it in the California youth authority. While I was incarcerated there I caught another case trying to defend myself I was charged again with another 3 years added. Everytime I apply for something, this always shows up. What can I do.

I too am a convicted felon out of the State of Oklahoma. I served 11 calendar years for something I had no knowledge of or contributed to. Since my release 2 years ago yesterday, the conviction still haunts me. I can't own a firearm (of any type) to hunt or protect my family nor can my wife, so she is penalized because of my past. How in the world, is that fair to her?

Where do we get involved? I’m in New Mexico, have a pretty good background in recovery advocacy working for different organizations on the west coast, but this here affects me every day, New Mexico and California won’t even let felons work in the cannabis industry. TIME DONE sounds like something I need to be involved in.

I live in Texas and was incarcerated for over five years for a drug conviction. While in prison I was assaulted by a gang member knocking out six of my teeth. The prison system did nothing to help me replace the missing teeth. Now that I'm out I couldn't get a place to live. An old friend who believes in me let me move in with her and her children. I've applied at almost five hundred establishments only to be turned down either because of my felonies or my appearance. I'm in dire straits now. I really need to find employment as well as a dental center who can help replace my teeth. Any help is sincerely appreciated.

Thank you all for all that you do!! I have a Simple Assault that has messed me up! It’s been 12 years and I’d like to see if I could get it removed. That’s the only charge on my record! Fighting a friend of 10+ years of friendship.. She went as far as trying to press an additional charge on me but the judge saw that she was playing around and he dismissed that charge but the Assault stuck! Ill be on the lookout for help!! Thank you Timedone in advance 💯💯

I GOT MYSELF A PICKUP AND STARTED COLLECTING SCARP METAL. THEN I MADE ENOUGH MONEY TO START BUYING USED CAR'S. I STARTED A USE CAR BUSINESS AND WHAT DO YOU KNOW THE COPS STARTED BUSTING MY CHOPS ABOUIT SELLING USED CAR'S. I LET THEM HAVE. I TOLD THEM OK I COULD ALWAYS GO BACK TO NYC AND COME BACK WITH A KILO'S OR 2 OF THE BEST COCAIN AND SELL THAT WHICH WILL MAKE YOU HAPPY... DID'NT GET A JOB UNTIL 2015.
