That is because it was determined that the RAM tank was not suitable for use in theatre. So the RAM Kangaroo is a converted tank designed to carry troops with armoured protection. Next, the conversion of the Priest to a troop carrier. The first thing to keep in mind, the Americans lost a number of their own priests and requested the 105mm guns back from the Brit's and Canadians. The guns were returned and the vehicles themselves converted to troop carriers for both the Brit's and Canadians. The nick name given to these vehicles was, defrocked priests. This is common knowledge to anyone who regularly gamed late WW2. Just look at Battle Front articles.

I think you convinced me for this game with this solo play. First I am a rather experienced solo (war)gamer and a big fan of John Butterfield. I think his solo designs found in Conflict of Heroes and the D Day at Omaha Beach games were a huge breakthrough in intelligent solo design. And this Vanguard game shows certainly elements of some of these great mechanics. Units act according to their position on the battlefield and their status and proximity of the human player forces. I am going to order this game on KS. Thanks for the video and please do fine tune these missions further.

I don't like how Warlord Games doesn't make cavalry for the Americans in Black Powder: American War of Independence. nearly everything I have bought for this period has been Warlords stuff but I had to buy my cavalry from Perry Miniatures yesterday. Yes they are both 28mm ranges but Warlord used heroic scale and Perry uses true scale so that means the infantry and artillery will look off next to the cavalry. I asked on X but got zero response.
