I believe Jjam in Korean means fun spelled (jaemi) and there's also a Korean slang term based on the word for honey jam which is (ggul jam)this is Korean slang used as way to say have some more fun. So I think it has to do with the culture of the slang in the language since it's used for "spreading more fun" or "more of anything thats enjoyable. " In the song there are several references throughout the song to say basically just listen to our Jam (aka song) & have fun (aka cut loose stop worrying about everything) & have a good time. They also use the sticky aspect of peanut butter & Jelly (aka jam& yes its an intentional reference to the peanut butter jelly time song) as to how they see themselves as a group sticking together as they finished this song right around the time they renewed their contracts with JYP so that's another reference. Plus the rap style that they are using in this song is often referred to in Korea as "sticky" so this is again another representation. And then the physical representation of actual jam as a the way they make their music by mashing together many genres. The overall song I think is meant to be a funny double & triple play on words. 😊❤❤❤❤ If you are ever interested in understanding their lyrics better I would suggest watching KZbinrs Andy & Jas they are native Korean speakers who also speak English & they give an amazing breakdown of their lyrics making sure English speaking audiences understand the nuances of the language & cultural refrences we as non-Koreans often miss. Their insights really allow us to appreciate the depth & quality of their lyric writing skills that would otherwise be dismissed as silly because of a lack of understanding. I hope this helps.😊 P.S. Yes this is supposed to be a 'tongue in cheek' nod to the horror movie genre. There are horror movie references throughout the video for people who are quick enough to catch them .😂 Stray Kids loves to hide hidden themes & messages in the videos for STAYS to find like a scavenger hunt. 😊😊😊❤❤❤Thanks again for reacting to Stray Kids.

The song really is all about being united against corruption, against the stablished system, that don’t care about the ones at the bottom of of the barrel, about being proud no matter your upbringing, and yearn to be happy amist your current situation.

@@DellyDel__ I love their ballads! Check out Cover Me! Also, Backdoor is amazing. Battleground (especially live), Maniac and Gods Menu are basically required at this point. Watch their live award show performances (I wish shows in the USA would have performances like this). Also, watch all the kingdom performances. Kingdom is basically a battle of the bands with multiple kpop groups. They perform live, one-take performances that will blow your mind. It’s like live music videos!

I'm mean you do have some asian women like that, out there especially here in United states & internationally, it's no different, the only difference is that they are more feminine. Also, the beginning of the video (where they show Megan & the women) behind the doors, is a reference to the movie "Rush Hour 2." Another thing is that the song’s title refers to a mamushi, which is a type of snake that is mainly found in Japan. The idea of snakes alludes to Megan’s current theme of incorporating snakes as imagery and metaphors in her lyrics, which can be heard in songs like “Cobra” and “Hiss.” “Mamushi” might subtly depict the overall theme of Megan regaining her past and letting go of it in order to represent the fame and prosperity she’s now achieving. Plus, also, this line in the romanized form is “okane kasegu orera wa suta” which means in Japanese: “We make money, we are stars.” In Japanese, if you don’t specify the subject, the listener will assume who you’re referring to. In this context, they are saying “we” make money. The following line has Megan switching the lyrics a bit and has her saying “okane kasegu WATASHI” which has her clarifying that SHE makes money. Lastly but not least: the video concept is that Megan transforms into an actual Mamushi, a Japanese viper, and strikes, to defeat a crew of gangsters who invaded her spa. She then uses their souls to create an army of blue-faced soldiers in a scene that pays homage to Japanese filmmaker Akira Kurosawa’s 1990 film “DREAMS.” 🇯🇵⛩🏯💙🤟🏽💴🎎⭐🐍💅🏾💋

They are Korean, but they have songs in Japanese and English as well. They are self produced and all members contribute to song writting. They have their own genre of music even if they are caught under the kpop umbrella. They touch about 50 styles of music and are known to switch flows and beats up to even 8 times in a song (see S-Class). If you like rap or hip hop, i suggest checking out some subunit songs like Muddy Water, 3racha by 3racha (these 3 are the producers), Streetlight, Heyday, We go. For many other styles i suggest God's Menu, Megaverse, Thunderous, Chk Chk Boom, The Sound and Circus (japanese), Super Bowl (english).

JJAM is spelt with a double J to make it extra sticky. Jam is referring to jamming to music, being jammed, jelly and jam and also jaem in Korean means fun. In short, the song is about having fun and the boys gave us a fun video for it.

It's not demonic she put out Cobra which explained a lot about her depression after the trial and negativity towards her on social media. Both her parents passed away and her grandmother and she has never had time to grieve due to always working. She has been by herself for a long time. That is actually the reason her and Tory became friends because he lost his mom too.

Meg is doing a retelling of the classic Japanese folktale of Nure-onna aka known as the wet woman/snake woman who seduces evil men and eats them. She filmed the whole video in Japan using Yakuza gangsters as bad guys that she devours, and Yuki is her henchman that disposes of the bodies. The blue painted victims is an homage to the classic Japanese film "Dreams." Side-note, I wish you dudes would stop bringing up that leprechaun Tory to denigrate Meg's career every chance you get. It's immature, tired, and gives your channel a bad rep to other people who may want to watch your content. Either send that ninja ramen noodle money through JPay or give it a rest. It's not a good look and comes off giving weirdo-abuser vibes and also anti-Bl@ck women.
