Well the swans are loving it!! Funny but I had a feeling not to go there this year so I am just going to Weston super Mare beach instead! 🙂 Very good video, thank you. 👍

That was really stunning. I've been wanting to visit Salisbury and the cathedral for a long time but haven't been able to travel. Maybe someday, lol. Thank you for such a lovely treat. :)

Just went for the 2nd time last week and I made sure I had this song downloaded to listen when I got up there. Indescribable peace and wholeness I experienced up there, I'm still processing the experience, praise the Almighty

As an American Anglophile, I've read a lot about this & King Arthur. This video is just beautiful & it takes me back to all I've read about it.

A fine example of commercial orchard near to the commercial shrine of romantic drivel. Vomitworthy.

What an exquisite place of peace. The light inside playing over the ancient stonework creates a magical effect. I stayed with friends in Belchalwell and visited another St. Aldhelm's, an ancient Norman church there. Thanks for sharing!😍🐗

A wonderful site indeed; it is atmospheric and resonant with the ancient past. I thought it was a sweet place and I do not doubt my ancestors visited and used the site for many thousands of years. The walk to it is a stunning time slip. I last visited in 2007. Thanks for sharing an evocative video and your knowledge of Weyland's Smithy 😍🐗

Can't help but wonder what they looked like newly finished. Seems awfully crude to bury someone in unfinished stone work like these. Weathering must have altered their appearance greatly.

Nearby West Kennet Longbarrow probably gives us something of an impression of how the Devil's Den would have looked before its erosion / destruction. Sadly societies of the past did not revere them in the way we do today.

Excellent and evocative work yet again. You so rarely upload a video, but when you do, it is always worth it. Now that I can't travel, it's marvellous to sail back to the motherland with you, even if only for a few minutes.

Hi Peter, I discovered your beautiful video yesterday whilst researching the history of Ynys Wytrin, you are very talented! I am a retired Graphic Designer in my 80’s and used to live in Street, not far from Glastonbury. I now paint landscapes / design t-shirts in my spare time. I have painted Glastonbury Tor and also designed a T-Shirt featuring Ynys Wytrin! I still have some stock left if anyone would like one - If so please message me, cheers!

Nice relaxing video to watch. Ham Wall is a great place, but we can only walk the main trail through as we always have the dog with us so can't go through the gates or into the hides, but plenty to see all the same. Last year we saw a bittern, and little and great egrets and heron, heard the cuckoo, and saw my first hobby. This year I got some nice photos of the marsh harrier and we heard the marsh frogs, and again, the cuckoo. Can't wait to go back again as spring progresses into summer!
