It was early one mornin’, I was on my way to school, (x2) That was the Monday mornin’ that I broke my teacher’s rule. I was in love with you baby, before I learned to call your name (x2) Now you’re in love with someone else, and you’re goin’ to drive me insane Oh wee, wee baby, you sure look good to me (x2) Sometimes I wonder, who can your lover be? [guitar solo] I was in love with you baby, before I learned to call your name (x2) Now you’re in love with someone else, and you’re goin’ to drive me insane Oh wee, wee baby, you sure look good to me (x2) Sometimes I wonder, who can your lover be? Bye, bye bye baby, bye bye (x2) Bye, bye bye baby, bye bye!

Eric on SMB .. what a great Jazz blues sound eh bro.. Proper good, although I do believe Eric does play a few ‘to many’ notes occasionally when he’s soloing.. Listening to SMB though, it’s got EVERYTHING needed to play melodies over it for HOURS.. A good dollop of slow but heavy 6th and 7th blues, Jazzy 9ths and chromatic shifting. EVERYTHING aspiring guitarists (or any suitable instrument) guitarists to just play along with. 👆🏽👆🏽👆🏽 Can you hear Eric stepping up and down during the chromatic parts?.. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽❤️❤️

Eric Clapton, one of the guitar geniuses, once at the airport, when he was hungry for alcohol, had to prove to the law enforcement officers by playing the guitar that he was the famous Clapton, because he did not have any documents with him.

Just another fine example of why the guitar legend they call "GOD" and "SLOWHAND" earned those monikers.

Clapton has gotten better as he's progressed. I have been fortunate to enjoy his life's work since he first appeared in the 60s. Thank God for the blessings ❤
