Daily how much minimum exercise are we looking at? I can do 1h walk easly, 2 times 1h would be pushing it, if I need to do that daily. I could/would take him with me ofc on (car)rides and chores.

I just hold her leash with my hand, have used a roll up leash and a 6 foot leash. I avoid traffic and try and stick to quiet streets. My dogs all learned really quick, all 4 of my dogs were good with bicycle.

Dang world and environmental issues are giving even pets cancer but the majority don’t people don’t care…. They push vaccines and a lot of dog food is not healthy and all other kinds of poison to our pets. All of these things increase disease just like in humans ..It’s a broken system. I’m sorry but I know that doesn’t make you feel better.

I’m so sorry. I’m going thru hell too with my dog . It’s so sad and frustrating cause vets get stuff wrong to . It’s awful. Absolutely unfair in life.

I am so sorry for your loss

I'm sorry he's gone. I'm 48 and just put our almost 15 year old doberman girl, Rio, down two weeks ago. I am still unable to make it a day without crying for her. She loved my wife and I. She was affectionate with everyone and was such a good girl. I'm so thankful for her long life and her impact on myself and everyone who knew her. It's never enough. I would give almost anything to have her back. I may somehow find a way to live with her loss but I don't know if I'll ever be the same again. There will always be a yearning to be with her.

Proverbs 12:10 says, The Righteous care for the needs of their animals, unfortunately every thing in this life will die, including all of my dogs which is family to me, my answer to all of my loss is to know God, to now Christ as Lord and Savior, in heaven you can bring your dog back into existence, our abilities will be endless, if you want the exact cyber, you will be outside of time and able to go back in time to bring cyber to the future, your future, that is what helps me in my losses.

Pet grief is really difficult, some dogs are just one of kind and you can't get over it. You learn to live with it. I wish more people talked about this. I lost my older dog in 2021, it took me a long time to just accept it and to start moving on.

<3 They make us better people even when they're gone.. Feel your pain brother, my dobies where the best thing to ever happen to me. We learn from it and grow to appreciate the lives we are blessed with being a part of. It sucks but you put it perfectly, couldn't have said it better my self.. Hey bro, I have a dobie just like yours. Does he ever pull hard can the bike actually stop him? I fell once with him pulling but that was my fault because I didn’t break and followed him into a curb causing me to fall. But when he pulls he pulls hard would a bike in motion stop a sudden direction change.

I think you have a balanced approach there. I love doberman but I know my resources is not available for one right now so I op for a mini Schaunser, 30 mins walk twice a day, then I can go to work no problem
