It makes sense what you are doing here ..but it did not worked for me. I still get the mismatch message and then game shuts down and restarts itself ....forever ..trying to connect to server

You get ichor also from unappetising fish, blue ones. Just cook them in a campfire. A lot easier

Can lotus seeds be planted in planters and grown ? It seems like it should work, but it doesnt.

it is bugged right now or maybe it is intended that way I'm not sure, but you are right you can not plant the seeds in a planter currently.

IMPORTANT UPDATE: Ok, I've successfully grown all 7 varieties of lotus - it is NOT bugged after all. As it turns out, all normal seeds use regular compost, but lotus seeds will only grow in "potent compost", which is made in a standard compost heap using the following SECRET RECIPE (Tier 4 ?): POTENT COMPOST = Compost (see below) + Blood + Raw Ash COMPOST, regular = Plant Fiber + Putrid Meat + Bonemeal Growtime is slow - roughly 4 mins. To make lotus powder (various colors), grind the leaves in a grinder ... but note that not all varieties of lotus have a corresponding powder, so grinding only works on some of them (the ones for which the game has recipes that call for them).
