I've been learning this tune for about 15 years if not more. Sometimes I almost get it so I like it. Definitely one that seems simple enough to begin with but soon open up to a world of subtleties.

Just found your channel and absolutely love the way you teach both the bowing as well as the fingering. I’ve had so much trouble combining the two to make music!! Thanks SO much!! Hope you are well!

Here in Texas there aren't many dances that don't have this. Most learn to dance starting with this and cotton eyed joe. Thank you

You know what, Thank you so much for "Giving" to us who just don't know how to play tunes and actually give the lesson for free. I appreciate this. I love this tune. I will check out more of our videos. I am wondering if you have a lesson for the San Antonio Rose? Thanks again....

Wow, so glad to find your channel, familiar tunes, been out of music for a bit, your lessons are very helpful to help me tune up! Thanks. Have you thought of posting Red River Jig?
@ivonnehmusic Жыл бұрын
Great to hear! Haven't done the Red River Jig, as it's very individualized and kind of a wild tune...not to mention I have about 4 different versions of it! I'll save that for people who want a private lesson ;)

Hi Ivonne, I found your channel not that long ago, you got some nice tunes! Last week I learnt The 7 Step in an hour and I needed something bouncy like this one now, you got a good channel Ivonne please keep it up! Oh I learn to play by ear, I can't read notes and I'm from Winnipeg, I use to live in Sooke. For the love of God I don't know why I moved back, but keep up the good work Ivonne and by the way your mom has some sexy feet lol. I'm metis and I play cajun fiddle tunes from the 30's, if I can suggest, can we see Clarinet Polka one day? But take care and be safe Ivonne, xoxo

Glad you like the channel! Keep fiddling and maybe someday we'll get to jam. Thanks for the tune suggestion, I'll see what I can do. Happy fiddling!

This was a treat. I love so many of the Ukrainian dance tunes, but it was nice to hear the slower ‘Bandura,’ as well as the second tune. Isn’t it fun to play harmony with another musician?
