The transition between the two represents a musical understanding the band simply haven’t displayed before. Even in The Stage, this is Pink Floyd/King Crimson level stuff. Truly astonishing. Not a wasted second on the album. I was a bit anxious as We Love You seemed a bit… much, and on the nose, but in the context of the entire album it’s actually one of its strongest points, along with cosmic and this triple track finisher. Although I include the title track in that, Death and Life is But a Dream (the song) really should be one singular song.

Dude, INXS was my first gig back in 91 at the old Wembley stadium in London. Age 16. Saw Shinedown for the 2nd time last month at Download Festival. Love to see this
