Sorry to hear your struggle. What’s been helpful for me is to be able to identify obsessive/intrusive thoughts and not engage with them. My OCD is eager to try to prove something to me but often times these thoughts are not able to be nor should they be proven or disproven. They're just thoughts that are, at the heart of it, trying to protect me when that's not helpful. You are not alone. Best of luck to you!

Great video. I saw a sketch he did of the hijacker Fredrick Hahneman and it is so close. A very talented man Roy Rose was. I research the DB Cooper case and would be interested to hear about any other work Roy did or see examples of his sketches.

Best of luck! It will get discouraging but if you can keep pushing through, you can figure it out. It might not be the path you imagined, but for me I’ve tried to embrace and appreciate the path I’ve found

this looks good but the hv40 video was spectacular with colar grade and contrast correction, I also still haven't found a reversal processing effect in software that looks quite like the in camera effect.

Yep exactly. It was a long journey to figure out what was right for me. I kept getting pulled back to the lure of prestige only to realize I didn’t have to go to USC to be successful.

Wow. For the longest time, I've been looking for this video. I'm currently a first-year student at a community college, but I intend to transfer to a four-year university. To be honest, the film program in which I am enrolled has been tremendously beneficial to me; even the teachers have provided me with several opportunities and connections. But more than half of what I've been taught so far can most definitely be learned on KZbin. In fact, one of my instructors teaches us using KZbin videos🤣. Nonetheless, I've always wanted to transfer to a "prestigious" film school, but I'm not sure if it's worth my time and money. The only reason it seems to be worthwhile is for connections and more hands-on filmmaking. I guess we'll see what happens! Good luck to you and your filmmaking endeavors✨loved this video!

Thanks for your comment! yeah pretty much anything you'd want to know is on the internet. Film school can be a good curator of knowledge, cause it's hard to know what you don't know. but if you're dedicated and proactive about always learning, you can succeed in whatever path you take
