JazakAllah I think M14 is safer during daytime and you have to fill petrol just before getting on M14 as there is no service station open yet to my knowledge As for toll plazas I have not counted them but there is probably between 3 to 4

Road is clear no issues on the road And m14 moterway is open from d.i. khan to Islamabad as well. Only thing put petrol before getting on m14 moterway as I think there is no service station
