Well, it’s kind of the middle of nowhere. I liked very much this little town especially the painting on the grains silo. I found out almost the hard way not to find easily some patrol in the bush. I understood quickly why people had jerrycans full of fuel with them. 😅. Thanks for your comment. 🙏

I've watched this house slowly being built each time I drive up Fairfax Ave north of Sunset Blvd. but didn't know it was Bono's. I'm sure he will throw some epic parties there when its completed!

The house has been completed for a while now. But not much is happening. Bono does not live there. There is an armed guard 24/7. The guesthouse is taking forever to be completed. But it starts to look like a ‘mini me’ of the big one, especially regarding the rooftop. I walk there and send the drone regularly. A video will come, eventually. I did not feel any danger during the day. It was like a ghost town with nobody. They say at night is another story. When I visited Gary, Indiana a few days earlier, I almost zapped the city. But I wanted to see Michael Jackson’s home and then after that I drove down a few streets and stopped at some abandoned buildings and also the City Methodist church. I did not feel at ease in this city. Anyway thanks for your comment and thanks for watching the video.

I believe this house is still owned by the Mauers. One of the sons was my PCP doctor, years until he retired several years ago. Back then, he told me his brother was living in the house on Mt Washington. Dr. Mauer also told me Lautner picked out his offices interior colors for him too. It was not your usual bland and white office colors which is why I asked!

Thank you. It is indeed a "Futuro House". It's part of the Harpel House (Lautner's design as well) and it belongs to Mark Haddawi, known for restoring vintage architectural homes. I would love to visit one of those.They are privately own and kept away from the public. I had an address in Nagano, Japan of one almost abandoned in the forest but when I finally found the place 2 years ago it had been moved to Gunma, Japan to restore it.

Hello, je pense qu'elle appartient toujours à la famille Taschen. J'avais fait de la recherche a propos des différents propriétaires qui ont suivi le propriétaire originel (Leonard Malin). Hello, je n'avais pas noté votre commentaire. Sorry. Merci de vous interesser a ma video. A propos du syndrome de Noé, ce sont des gens qui accumulent des animaux. C'est bien spécifique. Je ne pense pas que ce soit le cas de cette personne. Personne n'a vu d'animaux à cet endroit, cet homme aime juste amasser des tonnes de choses, y compris des dechets. Les gens au syndrome de Noé et cette personne ont quelque chose en commun, c'est le trouble obsessionnel compulsif (TOC) mais evidemment ca peut varier. Merci :-)

Hello again. Oui, c'est ca. En fait ce syndrome couvre plein de troubles compulsifs variés. C'est vraiment triste pour ces personnes car elles ne réalisent pas ce genre d'aberration. A leurs yeux c'est nous qui avons tort et il est difficile de les traiter. En tout cas merci pour votre participation à ce sujet. Oui, maisons jolies et cheres. Celle qui est a droite coute $3.7 Million , celle a gauche $2.6 Million. Celle en face coute $4.7 Million. Les gens ont porte plainte a plusieur reprises. La ville a réagi quand une des tv locales de LA a fait un reportage. Le propriétaire accumulateur avait déjà été sommé de nettoyer son jardin en 2014 et 2016. Merci pour le commentaire.

We were in a band called Hot Fog from New Jersey band and used to live up there. We came out after high school with our van and equiptment and played places like the Topanga Canyon Corral. We took this elevator everyday and walked to the recording studio in Hollywood where we rehearsed. Lot's of good memories! We could hear the concerts from the Hollywood Bowl in the back of our apartment.

Hi there, thanks for watching the video and sharing your memories. I really enjoy Hollywood Heights and the Hollywood Bowl in the background. Laurel Canyon and Topanga Canyon are magical places too. I'm curious, when did you live there? Did you know that Kurt Cobain from Nirvana lived near the Tower Elevator for a few months in the early 90's? His old home is still standing and attracts fans from all over, even though it's supposed to be torn down soon.Thanks. Fred
