I am a Japanese person who lives nearby. This is what it looked like in 2019. The following year, it has completely changed. Now, you need to get an admission ticket to buy items at this store. If you are visiting Japan, please be careful of Gundam Base admission tickets.

Its the bigger panels that dont look so great. The smaller bricks add texture and it does look nice, I also used sand blue on my castle and found it works well with the new light and dark grey and the old light and dark grey, even added a bit of sand green, olive green, light and dark tan and light nugget, but only sparingly just to add a bit more texture at the bottom of the walls. I replaced a lot of the large panels with built up ones with proper windows, they might not be original but it just looks better, plus you can add the window inserts into proper windows while the panels wont take inserts. Or you can build proper arrow slits. I will take what is old and change it to what Lego would do today, but it does not always work, sometimes you end up changing it and you lose the old charm and beauty of the original set and design...but you can always change it back! Have fun building.

Dear Tang Brick Studio, I'm sorry to say this but I have made a firm decision to no longer watch Lego videos, in order to help myself overcome the desire to buy more Lego than I already have. I'm just explaining why I have to unsubscribe. I'm unsubscribing from all Lego YT channels and even from channels featuring differently branded building bricks also, although I hadn't ever bought any of that. I wish you all the best with your Lego adventure and videos. I'm still grateful for the enjoyment I experienced from watching Lego videos!

If you can't afford designer bags and feel a certain way about expensive designer bags, then don't watch this video. Like do you read a video title before clicking on it? The title makes it clear that the video will be about designer bags. I find these types of videos very helpful and although I can't afford these bags yet, I know one day I will. I wanted to know which designer bag was truly worth my hard-earned money and one that I would get the most out of. That being said, if you're reading this, thank you for sharing this video with us and please make more videos like this. Maybe kislux is your next choice?

The connectors are in the wrong place now. I would make the sidewalk a little smaller still, so we can have a bit more room (maybe only 1 stud wide) for figs to transit there if they so choose.
@TangBrickStudio-TBSАй бұрын
Yup the connectors are shifted as well, so need to take note to adjust them for all buildings when shifting them backwards. Agree, I did made them smaller in my more recent videos, and at the same time creating more interior space.

Very nice video. I've also had to make this decision recently, and chose for a combination: 4 studs wide for regular cars, as I mostly own those types of cars. I do swap out the wheels for the newer, smooth wheels that you see on most cars. Those are also narrower and just the wheels already elevate the cars a lot. Then I use 6 studs for trucks and the like, and some bigger cars
@TangBrickStudio-TBS2 ай бұрын
Thank you for appreciating this video! Yup, 4 studs wide car fits well as I was also using them for my city. But more and more recent city sets builds car with 6 studs width and the details are amazing so I made the decision to switch. 🚘

That's what i'm going to comment, we have same thought

I did a simiar build with the green masonry bricks (still need to finish the roof 😅). I did an updated interior for the store, used a 3x3 round for the top sign with the grocery store sticker from the sticker pack sold by Lego, replaced the side signs and the walls they're on with 1x2x5 clear bricks, and used white walls for the upper floors with accents of green brick to show damage. I just found your channel and I love these videos and the army ones, I'm subscribing to see more of what you come up with!
