Can I fit a 2007 accord 4 cyl starter to a 2009 TSX so I don’t have to find a new one? Would that information be available on alldata at a garage?

Hello, I'm having a hard time getting the bottom bolts loose on the intake manifold. It takes a 12mm socket and I have a ratchet and a breaker bar but I can't get the right angle on the bolts to get it out & dont want to strip it, i trued to go underneath the car to get to it but couldn't get the right angle. Any thoughts appreciated thank you for this video. :) mine is an acura tsx 09 slightly different but wondering what is the method for getting the bottom bolts or nuts loose

Thanks a lot, your video helped me out a lot changing the starter on my 2012 TSX, that tube that you used as a breaker bar is a must for that job. (I used an aluminum kitchen faucet neck). I Used a 10 mm for removing top screws and some brackets, 12mm sockets with and extension to remove the manifold, then on the starter used 14mm and a 17mm to the two main bolts then a 12mm for the terminal that connects to the battery. Flat head screw driver and a ratcheted breaker bar Hope this comment helps out others

I would have replaced the wall tiles prior to refinish the tub. And the Air conditioner off. The last thing you want to do is redistribute the paint fumes through the house via AC recirculation. Tub looks good though.

I agree about keeping the AC off, however more importantly than fumes is getting the paint on the evaporator coil.

There are many things wrong with this video. As a professional refinisher from a very good company I can tell you that we come and fix these all the time plus the final product of this really didnt look good. Your bondo mixture also needs to have a lot less hardener in it. Faster isnt always better especially when it comes to bondo. If you want it to dry quicker, put a heat gun on it, flash it with cold water and then hear gun again. Never put too much hardener in it. Save yourself the hassle and have a professional do it.

Success! Took me about 4 hrs at night with the help of my 11 year old daughter :). I figure it would be 1/2 hour faster if I did it in the day; and now that I know what I'm doing it would probably take me 1.5-2hrs if I had to do it again. Thanks for the video!

Thank you for taking the time to create such a helpful video. I was able to replace the starter in my 2009 Acura TSX using your excellent and clear instructions - though not as quickly as you are able to. I'd like to highlight a couple of points in case it helps anyone else following your instructions. My 2009 TSX has two nuts on the top row of fasteners that hold the intake manifold on [b - n - b - n - b]. Also, I wasted about an hour trying to get the two lower nuts off the threaded studs that anchor the bottom of the intake manifold - I had to give up but thought to try the one bolt holding the bracket where the studs thread into - worked much easier for me. When I went to remove the intake manifold, I found I needed to disconnect a vacuum line on the left side of the manifold to actually separate it from the vehicle. Finally, I don't know if this would affect the core value on the failed starter but I twisted too hard trying to un-stick the terminal nut on the starter and wound up breaking the terminal completely off the starter (made removal go a littler quicker though - I had a tough time getting a tool into loosen the terminal nut. Again, thank you for sharing your talents.

Go with someone like miracle method. A lot of the stuff this guy is doing is going to fail within a year. Have a professional do itm miracle method guarantees at least 10 years though most last longer, give a 5 year warranty where they will fix things for free and will not only do all repairs and refinish it the first day but they will come back for a 2nd day to wet sand and polish your tub to make it look brand new. It's about 500 but you get what you pay for with things like this. They provide excellent customer service as well
