I really hope that Zetor doesn't try to follow many of the other manufacturers, who are continuously making their machines more and more complicated. Think John Deere. Not a wise thing to do!

I have a brand new one and looking online about ac condensation drain issues. I ran it today in Texas first time. Brand new tractor (I’ve owned 3 prior zetors last 30 yrs ). Water is pouring out of every corner and every air vent. I found a plastic drain hanging out of frame square tubing above both rear tires with kind of like a little rubber nipple to keep bugs out I assume. I blew air in both and not a drop draining anywhere. Might have to open roof :(. Any info / suggestions.

@@MrJhowardjr I can't say we've had that problem on a Major. All of the A/C components are visible under the cover on the back of the roof.

@ i got it figured out. Thanks for reply. The dang nipple out of the drain box left side was broke into and tube laying in there lose. Zetor send new one right out. I had already “fixed “ it.

That looks like the perfect tractor for a small farm. No playing with computers. How much and what about parts replacement.

Nothing too serious. A few electrical gremlins, but they were usually easily solved.

@berndtfarmequipment9418 I am currently considering purchasing this model for my operations in West Virginia. I am unfamiliar with how PTO Clutches work (used to 2-Stage and independent PTO systems). Could you do a video on how to engage PTO with this model and tell me if it has a cup holder in the cab? All assistance is appreciated!

When I was a kid many many years ago I learned to drive on a Zetor tractor..everything was difficult from shifting gear to the steering ;-). This machine looks amazing.

Me too. Learned how to work a clutch when i could stand in front of the seat and depress it in my fathers 1978 Zetor 4718. He since got a 7745 that got replaced by a Proxima 100. The 4718 i still going strong. Been in continuous use by its first owner since 1978.

Yes, there were many models at that time that Zetor produced for John Deere. An interesting point in Zetors history for sure.

Yeah it's because the dealers were getting no lifetime income from repairs. Much better to sell a overly complicated Deutz where you can earn another 50% of purchase price on selling parts and doing repairs for the next 10-15 years...

I have a Zetor Proxima Power 120 2013 model, it's been flawless. Only issue I have had is a leaky tilt cylinder on the loader after a collision while moving snow. I like simplicity and robustness, and it has that in spades.

This tractor is currently priced at $78,900 for tractor and loader. The cabs aren't silent but definitely comfortable. It's a cold diesel engine. It's going to have a little rattle. Price is only good for this in stock tractor

The outboard planetary gears I’ve never liked. I’m a Deere guy but these tractors are very simple and seem to be good runners.
