Keeping it weedless on a Texas rig It has advantages and disadvantages The advantage is if you put a glass bead you can make it clack against the bead Pegged you get les snags I feel I use jig heads to for bigger swimbaits But when I want to crawl it around rocks I go weedless and pegged

Going out to humbolt bay in California to do some rock fishing off the north jetty out there should be good

If you get the more knobby tracks I’m sure it will I have the less aggressive because the knobbies kinda hurt my back but even the less aggressive would probably climb if they weren’t wet
